When java auto-updates, it only updates the 32bit version and somehow, for me anyway, seems to mess up my manually installed 64bit version of java. 64bit java always needs to be manually updated as far as I know.

May not solve the problem, but worth a try.

You need a 64bit system to run 64bit java, not everyone has that. (for instance I have 32bit windows, NOT 64bit.)


Just saying, since it kinda frustrates me when people make assumptions like that. I'm not actually exactly sure what difference it is going to make to how a few textures load anyway?

What is the current status? Love this pack.

I'm still here guys! Just a little more in server land than resource pack land right now......... daayum servers can be stressful so much to do!

Seriously, I can understand your excitement. For anyone who likes mucking about with computers and gaming, the anticipation of getting a new and more powerful machine is an experience to savor...even at my age! I reckon I've got another 2 years before I can make a case for something better.

Haha yeah it will be, according to my dad a 32bit system wouldn't be capable of making full use of the hardware! xD We're not sure whether to go for windows 7 or windows 8.1 though... While I understand windows 7 8.1 has performance improvements under the hood... I'm edging towards 8.1 xD. It will future-proof me more anyway...

yep it is XD. I'm even more excited cause my current pc is starting to struggle with what I'm asking it to do, past just the shaders and CTM. It's just getting a little too old and clunky now xD. With my desire to make animations and mods and record my playing and stuff... I need something more powerful, which my parents recognise. As I have said before, I have utterly epic parents. (Helps that both of my parents also game, and my dad has been highly interested in computers and tech and gaming since before home computers existed, and is definitely a geek.)

Haha indeed xD. And I'm working on my own texturepacks too... one is digital 32x and elf-themed and one is traditional art, realisim themed, and 256x/128x, so as the pencil one comes along I'm gonna need a computer that is going to run the bigger size with at least 8-chunk renderdistance (so I can see the sky) and no lag... xD. Also I may use the traditional art one in my animations occasionally. (you can see the stone in my avatar). I used my animation program to make this version of my avatar and it threw an utterly wobbily at me, just doing a single frame using the texturepack. so yeah. And only the stone and torch were even that size. It's maybe a little unhelpful that the program uses the original texture file format and so for a large texturepack size it needs a gigantic file. At least it does support high-def though. I would have used the torch texture from the pack but it wasn't displaying right as it's taller than default.

Oh my god those chickens are great. They make me laugh, but that's a good thing. They look really cartoony but they're spectacular. Good job like always, keep it up man

ALSO guys some more news. The Chromahills Network is expanding (it was always going to) we are working on a Creative server for people to just build in peace, as will as Prison server and something new!

As well as this a Mini Games project outside of the network with a different team (still Chroma Hills) is well underway and will be a sister network to the Main Chromahills network.

The CH factions server is having more features added there are many plans for this it's really only the start.

Gonna a be a lot of stuff happening over the next several months!

DONT worry i'm very much back on the pack and aim to get it complete (up to date) asap.

Also as promised i'm working on the Golem again folks and hes finally starting to get some LIMBS!

The pack seems to be turning out wonderfully. I kinda under-appreciated the pack until I decided to build a castle... looked pretty good with the vanilla textures, but wow, your RP really brought out the details!

I'm probably missing something but when I used the textures every block has weird lines around it that make the edges invisible. How do I fix that?
