Work in progress on the jungle planks. This will make great floors as well builds in the Jungle Bio like tree houses, forts, farms and also general out buildings and such
Playing with some rope, binding/ideas with CTM at the mo.
Those jungle planks are great as always— they are exactly what my idea was, the vertical logs bound with rope.
That terrain is mind-blowingly amazing- it looks so realistic, I'd definitely want to adventure there. Who made that and how?
Hey Syclone, I am so, SO SORRY for leaving! There was a huge storm where I was and completely cut phones, internet, and cable in my entire area; it was crazy!

I made it using a plugin called Terrain Control.
Hey no worries, wondered where you went lol
SO guys Frofster is now on the Admin team for the official CH server development. He has created some beautiful Biomes for you to explore and build in, has great technical ability and my god does he have oodles of enthusiasm and a dedication to the cause.
I very like this texture pack. You did well this mix between rpg and cartoon style. All of the blocks look amzing and go well together I especially like the Bricks, the chest, workbench, wooden door and stuff like this, the oak leaves and the vines, but maybe you could change the color of the oak wood planks a little bit. I would make them a bit darker and saturate them a bit. They are looking more like birch wood on my opinion. I think ynou also used connected textures very well. I like the leaves on the grass . Maybe you could also add, that there are sometimes shells or something like this in the sand. The most mobs are also very well done. The zombie for example are amazing, I think it was much work to do them . The skelletons are also very very good, but I think the sheeps aren't so good. They are not bad, but I don't like that they are so realistic. The zombies are looking more "cartoony", and I think this style is matching better to the rest of the pack. But all in all this is a very great pack. I think its one of my most favorite. Please keep working on it
Thanks very much for the feedback and very pleased you like my work
I have redone the wood planks as you can see above all now quite different from one another but still great to build with in game. I do plan to give the sand an overhaul and it will have a nice amount of ctm to give it variation I am pleased with the sheep I don't think i will be changing them as they still look warm and bright and fluffy which fits the pack imo
Keep checking back and lots more to come
Well I've done some cobwebs with some CTM variation today made them 256x for the 128x pack as they looked to blocky in 128x.
Thanks! and do you know what i'm actually in the mood do to some tools............ SO i'll be back with something later
Okay folks with the introduction of resource packs this place has become a frenzy with topics droping 2-3 pages down in a matter of hours! Them pesky sound only packs are the culprits me thinks.
So my fellow Chromahillians, lets get this topic active and get you all more involved as that REALLY motivates me to keep going seeing the input from you lot
What would would you like to see next texture wise? (gonna start some hoes)
Any feedback on recent work?
How are you enjoying the latest update?
Whats your fave thing in the pack?
Whats your least fave......can I improve it in quality or is it just personal taste?
Got any cool pictures of armor for reference post 'em up so i can see?
Any cool ideas on what the other mobs should look like, fire off your ideas to me?
Lots of you talk about me doing a really cool bow, so show me some images what are you thinking....help me out as I keep putting it off?
You don't have to answer all the above BUT if something grabs you then say something
Here's a big question, how many of you enjoy playing survival? If yes how about playing in EPIC custom biomes with amazing visuals and lots to do with many other players..........still yes?? Then our first official CH server will be seriously exciting! Note i said FIRST server, can't wait to tell and show you more!
Donator perks, all donators get access to my work in progress files and can download everything i'm working on or testing way before I put out an official release. Huge thanks to those who have already, you also get to help me test and make sure the the stuff i put out in the release is as good as it can be.
We hit over 140k downloads today, again just wow............eek long post sorrry
And the next work to make Icons, chest_inventory, brewing_stand, anvil etc.
The Mobs not to realistic, more to cartoony (@Meoxxam said).
You doing a great work and it is getting better and better!
Thanks Hooschi, I can see you have warmed up the colours in your screen and i do like the bit of redness in the dirt so will try that as I have already thought of making the dirt a little warmer in colour , I do like my wood colours and i dont was to push the pack too cartoony as this pack still has quite a bit of detail. I will keep the current grass colour but will add a little more red'y brown to the oak but not quite as much as your picture as I like the rustic feel it gives in builds as this is an RPG theme.

I like the vertical spruce planks too. And as for that terrain on the server - WOW, just WOW!
I'm having great fun finding cool things the jungle planks can be used to build............they are really versatile!
Oh the terrain planned will be just amazing, looking forward to showing more development soon
Thanks Uni, great to hear on both counts!
It was done a few pages back by someone, I will make a place for it on the 1st page so it's easy to find......and update it
All new look woods together.
Hmm yes it is there and in the zip file Its running fine here.
I'll upload the jungle planks onto the donator forum in a bit just drawing cobwebs, trying them at 256x as 128x looked a little blocky
Thanks very much for the feedback and very pleased you like my work
