Did you by any chance have time to ask yet if the shader mod supports assembly?
Personal curiosity and that might be a way to make SEUS less power hungry, especially as assembly does floating point calculations a lot quicker then c does
It actually slipped my mind, I'll ask him later Also will reply to your PM
Wow the brick is looking nice. Looking forward to seeing the new gravel.
Edit - Forgot to mention it earlier but the flame animation is looking excellent.
Cheers True, on both counts
So this is the gravel i'm been playing with, its not finshed ( i know theres tiling errors) and I will do 9 random textures to break it up, I thought it flows better with the style but what do you folks think?

I definitely think that goes along with the style a lot more than the previous! It looks more 'gravely' too.
And that brick looks delicious.
Also I love the fire animation and brick ctm + gravel looks nice
And 20-25 FPS might be a little generous, I hate to say, and if I may guess is that a Lenovo Ideapad? Just curious, as a standard everyday laptop do you like it?
I used to have a GT 640 card in my desktop and hit around 10-15 FPS with SEUS. Upgraded to a GTX660 and I get 40-50. Who knows though, it all depends on how much optimization goes into the next update!

Yeah, good guess, G780. It's great. I'd recommend it if you were looking for a good one. My only complaint is that it's freakin' huge
I've hit 40 FPS with other shaders (Can't remember which, I made a post a while back linking to one of them.) Some of the cell shaders that make it look cartoonish I've gotten around 30. From what I've seen it depends on which shader, but SEUS looks quite powerful from the screenshots I've seen.
It makes me sick that I could've built a great PC and I decided not to

Chocapic13 sorts his shaders from low to high, with his highest being less demanding than SEUS (his shaders are based off of SEUS). That could be an option... From what I've heard though, Sonic has been working on making his more efficient, so I'm sure we will see that soon. I can't wait to see what Chroma Hills looks like with his (SEUS) new update though, he's been working on it for quite some time now!
And I've just been looking at Lenovo's in general, for numerous reasons both personal/business. Definitely wouldn't be getting a 17" laptop though, although I'm sure it's nice to have the big screen for games. Just save up for a desktop next year, there will be a TON of new tech! And so many games...soooo many. I need to make sure to pay attention to real life too.

Cheers Jake, i'll work more on the gravel now
Yeah SEUS is becoming more Optimized and hopefully people will get a good FPS boost on the next update!

I will see if Cody will allow me to post a few screen shots of the new update with CH may want to hold back till he releases.
ACTIVATE JAW DROPPING MECHANISIMS, SONIC ETHER HAS LANDED SMACK BANG IN CH LAND!!
Very, very pleased to be able to bring you some development screens of Sonic's latest SEUS build and some work in progress on the official texture pack of Sonic Ethers Unbelievable ShadersCHROMA HILLS SEUS edition V.1
I won't say anymore i'll just leave these here..........after which i believe Sonic will say a few words
Collaborating with Syclone has been pretty awesome! Chroma Hills is a perfect blend of realism and artistry that suits SEUS very well. I'm still in the middle of settling a lot of new features, but the screenshots you see above were taken with the latest version of my work. It's great to have a texture artist working with SEUS in mind!

Those screenshots look absolutely fantastic!
Chroma Hills and SEUS look great together, I'm now working on some large builds to showcase both.

Right back at ya Sonic.........Sonic & Syclone <---- quite the ring to it
Really is quite fantastic and thanks for popping on the thread and continuing to do the great things you are doing with SEUS. Very pleased to be a part of it and looking forward to what is to come.
Oh my they look fantastic. I'll definitely download them whenever I can. (is it downloadable now btw)
Ha and you were just saying about shaders as i posted it No the latest SEUS release is not ready yet and another texture pack is being created between myself and Sonic that will work specifically with SEUS using the bump maps etc
Those screenshots look amazing! Shame my computer wont be able to handle that level of detail anytime soon.
Yeah you will need pretty decent spec's to run it with full effects on. There will be a lighter version of the shaders that don't have as many effects. Also with the new resource backs we have talked about including the shaders so no faffing about installing them
You won't be disappointed and SEUS is still a fairly power hungry beast so what spec PC do you have?
It actually slipped my mind, I'll ask him later
Next up is a new gravel I've been trying out.
Edit - Forgot to mention it earlier but the flame animation is looking excellent.
Thanks very much
Yep clay bricks, glad you like 'em its simple horizontal ctm but makes a real difference
Cheers True, on both counts

I had friends suggest a build a PC but I was stupid and bought a laptop...i regret that decision every day
I probably will run 20-25 FPS with SEUS.
But the main specs:
Intel Core i7 3632QM @2.20GHz
Nvidia Gt 635m 2GB
6 GB Ram
Also I love the fire animation and brick ctm + gravel looks nice

Ah good to know, well i'll will do some variations and sort out the tiling now

I second this
Shaders are nice but I'd only really use them for a time lapse video or screenshots or something
