Excellent! Even made the switch from MCpatcher to Optifine as it would appear Optifine has more to offer.
This what happened to me... Everything is MESSED up it's clashing with the Default and Textured Items....and the mobs look the same from the default textures.......how and why is this happening?....

I just noticed some of the cobble ctm has a slightly different tint than the normal cobble, resulting in seam lines.
Weird, its not on mine.........dont use the cobble on the sponge texture as that IS different.........was meant to delete that test and revert it back to sponge
There is a portal.png which is long and thin like other animated blocks. Opening it up looks ok - it looks like your uploaded pics. However, there's no sign of any portal.txt, which might be the problem...
Yes I just also noticed there's no portal.txt, which is why the portal texture doesn't work.
Ok thats weird. I've never made a portal.txt it DOESNT need one in the pack, its pulled from the minecraft.jar or hardcoded............i can't remember?
Other people who have downloaded the pack can see the portal.......i just checked with a few............and works fine here.
EDIT Its hard coded.........even in the minecraft.jar the portal.txt file in there is blank.

EDIT Make a portal.txt file (leave it blank) and drop it in with the portal.png...........maybe that will fix it I dunno why it wont show for some.
Syclone, just wanted to say your pack is looking awesome so far! Up until this point, the only texture pack I could play with consistently without getting sick of is Sphax, but once yours is completed I think I may have found a new favorite Keep up the great work!

SycloneSJS im having a slight issue with the shader i'm using. From certain angels the clouds are messed up with black spots.
See screenshot below. Any help / update / info how to fix this would be much appreciated.
As well as some lines along some items (like this oak sapling) which i think are texture related. Same with torches.
On a side note i think apples need some size adjustment seem to be the biggest item you can hold in your hand atm. (feels like 1/6 of my screen is filled when i hold an apple)

Hmm, ive seen that before and some shaders have an issue with the skybox, try different shaders, also try different versions of Optifine as some times its something to do with that
Looks really really cool but I don't know if I can play like that... it's too much of an LSD trip for me. But I might turn it on now and then to take screenshots.
Oh cool, don't use the new update with shaders it will be CRAZY bright and also it doesn't have the custom lightmap to make the shader lighting work properly

I got 20 fps with a custom, lightweight shader pack.
What specs do you need and what fps do you get?

I have about 1.63GB spare RAM when running shaders.
Intel graphics card, I'm ashamed to say . Can you change graphic card easily?
That is a bit low spec for shaders, mainly the graphics card, not so much the CPU, ram could be a little higher i have 32gb but dedicate 4gb fully to MC but the FPS with shaders really comes down to the graphics card its speed and its memory. I've also heard many people have problems and poor performance with intel cards.

I noticed something with the shader textures (not sure if its also in the nonshader texture).

Noax, the Door Handle thing... it's how minecraft handles textures, so that's the downside of having detailed Doors, the sides look weird. Would be nice if there was some... CTM possibility to texture door sides.
Not sure if you can CTM that part of the door it does't have its own ID
Syclone, pray tell, do you work on scale or do you work larger than your 128x resolution and resize it after?
Pretty much all done at 128x scale so the detail is native to the resolution

I take back what I said earlier about the stone, its fine now. Any news about server host/specs/plugins? Do you think Jakecraft and other builders who use this pack, should build spawn? Sorry for server impatience!!!!
Made some more progress on the server actually, been setting up the file system on the FTP, making sure access is available to those that need it. Getting somewhere I will be asking Jake if he wants to come build

Hmm thats odd, i can see in the screen shot new blocks/cobble etc so you have the update.....
Could you open the pack zip go to Textures/blocks and look for portal.png <--------- is it there?

TWS, did you sort your cobble problem?
Seems this may be a thing where if you use Optifine or Mcpatcher possibly.
I use optifine and it doesn't require the portal.txt to be in the texture pack.
Its uploading now, so give it about 5mins before you download the pack.........i removed the test cobble from the sponge quickly also
EDIT People using MCpatcher, let me know all is ok
I can confirm this fixed the portal for me with mcpatcher. Before this it just looked like a pink and blue checkerboard.
