Thanks, it was quite an old texture and needed some work (especially the top) so i went with a leather hide and some variation Its gives a little nod to the vanilla table with the new colour on top also.
I like the new crafting table, looks a bit darker, little more worn. Seems like it fits a bit more than the current one.
Good to know, there are about the same brightness but i use some shadow/shading in the section where the tools sit to give some depth and with the brown colour on top they look a little darker

Glad you like 'em, well I started rough workings of the bow so i'm going to get that full finished i think, then i will start changing all the ores over to the new smoother stone texture, do a new iron ore, get the moss on to the new cobble texture, new nether brick and i think that's the plan for now
Question folks, how many of you feel i should keep working on the 1.4 versions?? I will still have them but i was thinking if i focus on updating 1.5 and get it all done up to the latest snapshot then i can take what i need to put into the 1.4 version later. I also want to get a 32x test version up.

Pretty much the only ones running 1.4 or earlier are on modded servers and you don't have support for mod packs yet. Eventually all the mods will update to 1.5 and then they will transition to that. It will also let you have everything in place so that when 1.6 rolls to final you can adapt to it a bit faster.

You're not getting a weird bug with the texture pack, but your Seus may not being applied. That's what the shader textures look without a shader mod installed.

Those funny purple/red colours appear when you have a shader adjusted texture pack with the custom light maps added (like mine do) but the actual shader files aren't selected or installed properly.
I would concentrate on the 1.5.* and snapshot stuff before worrying about backwards compatibility. Pretty much the only ones running 1.4 or earlier are on modded servers and you don't have support for mod packs yet. Eventually all the mods will update to 1.5 and then they will transition to that. It will also let you have everything in place so that when 1.6 rolls to final you can adapt to it a bit faster.

Hey do you think you could add in a Trapped Chest? Even if you just do a stand in texture with like a red lock piece on the same chest texture.

I find most of the "realistic" packs tend to be waaayyyyyy to dark and had been looking for a great HD cartoon style pack for awhile. Looking forward to the next pack update!

For some reason the clouds in the skybox are gone for me, don't know what happened.
Right now your pack is my fav with SixtyGig following in a close 2nd. Interesting enough they are both "cartoony" packs.
I find most of the "realistic" packs tend to be waaayyyyyy to dark and had been looking for a great HD cartoon style pack for awhile. Looking forward to the next pack update!
Ah i see they are quite different in style as i wanted to move away from the full cartoon look after too much Sphax use. So i went with much more detail but still bold and bright with elements of cartoon styles to keep the warmth and charm.... also much more detailed mobs/items than straight cartoon packs that i hope to get as much character and life into as poss Its was also designed to work well with big builds and all the servers and builders starting to use CH seem to really love it

Thats odd the clouds are part of the sky so if they aren't there you aren't displaying the Skybox, just the basic minecraft sky. Check you MCpatcher/Optifine settings.

Turns out I had to get the latest version of MCpatcher. The clouds are back now.
I dont know if anyone told you yet, but GLSL now supports bump mapping for 1.5.2 so lets get some bumps goin on this texture pack!
I haven't announced anything officially as its early days, but i can now 100% say that this is already happening! I was approached by a very capable team a little while ago one of the members really wanted to work on the bump mapping/specular maps and we have talked and some early previews have been sent to me.
Once we have a few good test screen shots i will put some pics up and introduce you to who will kindly be being doing all the work. I was going to to do this myself but its a huge pressure off me to let someone else take that side over and leave me to the main pack

Lol, a "squee" is like a sort of weird squeak of excitement xD. Usually done while bouncing up and down on the spot :P. (or at least it is for me xD.)

I don't know whether this is what's going on for you or not, but if your render distance is below normal the custom sky does not show.
