Right, if you have purple that means the right texture pack is being used but the shaders are not selected. So in magic launcher you should have optifine at the top, then the shadermod below that. (i'm using Opti A8 and shadermod A8). Then when minecraft loads go to options, video settings and click shaders, make sure your shader files are showing in the list and select them. If they aren't showing click add shader files and drop the shader file zip (CH shaders for example) into the folder that opens up. Then select them then open a world and purple will be gone

Hmm, sorry to hear that. Somehow the shaders are not activating even though you have selected them. I have heard some people have problems with certain graphics cards, what one do you have? Have you updated to the latest drivers. Onboard Intel graphics cards (GPU'S) are known not to work with SEUS. Can you try the set up on another PC? At a friends/family maybe?

Ah remember the Shader pack is designed only for shaders its all adjusted and darkened to work with the shaders. You must use the non shader pack if not using shaders as other the lighting of the pack will be all gloomy and not how its meant to look
Okay just been looking over the new horses and OH my what a silly amount of textures they will need doing!! Ummm i'll just add them to the list for now folks
On another note, I've finished the first Zombie and have some other variations for random mobs on the go i'll show later.......Took WAY to long on these textures!

Well in my mind you taking forever on the zombies was worth it! They look great, can't wait to see the variations and other mobs.
Yeah, I thought the horses looked like really bad news for texture artists, too. There's so much! I really don't envy you, especially, having such a high quality pack to do >.<

Yes sometimes i wish i was doing a 16x pack! It is a lot to do and it will just have to go on the list for now. My goal for the next release is to have, Zombie, Skeleton, Spider done so all basic mobs are done

Just playing Minecraft and I thought that while I was hiding in a hole from the mobs through my first night on this world (ahh, the good old days ) I'd throw a suggestion I just remember your way.
I've seen it in a pack before (Dragon Dance by Steelfeathers), and I'm told it's fairly common, but what do you think of CTM wool? You know, just the same as how CTM works on glass, where there is a border only around the outside. I personally think it looks brilliant, and will be especially good with the addition of carpets to come! But I do get that it would probably be a lot of work with all the different colours of wool

Dead ELVIS has entered the building............. On a serious note i actually looked at the Skeleton and original Zombies and the zombie colours are too bright (mainly the pants/trousers) and i like the idea of having the baddie mobs looking like they all belong together ish........creepers are a different race though that roam the lands.
So new colours...........what do you all think?? will have some other colour variations but nothing too bright and off theme.

I tried making my own textures today, by the way, totally inspired by your work. Started on the pine tree, painted it from scratch. Four times. Was pretty content with the last one, but well, it's work! I think I will try to paint some with acrylics and scan and then start another try.
Wow painting each texture, theres no room for error there so very well done if you can pull it off. When you have got a few blocks done you should start a project thread as that could be a first. It sounds very hard to do and a long process but i've seen your paintings and would love to see if it works
Right, Zombies are done for now, they have some variation but i will change clothes a bit mote later down the line for now they are good enough and must move on to something else.
I think i'll do a Spider next, but i'm open to suggestions as to what people would like to see done for the next release
On another note, I'm pretty blown away but we are coming up to the 10k mark (need to double check the server data) for downloads in just a couple of weeks i know some of that is multi pack downloads but still wow!! I hope people are enjoying the first test release.
