Wow! A beautiful texture pack! I would so use this with shaders. But my PC can't handle it. This is really off of Sphax. Hard to believe. Great Job!
Thank you It's really not thats it's built off of Sphax but it just so happened i was using the 128x version of Sphax for some time and I used it as base to draw over as it was not 16x like the default and i didn't have any other texture packs or know much about them back then.
Out of all of the packs I have used, this may be my favorite, even in its incomplete state. The tools and chests are the highlights . Just a couple suggestions - the furnace interface is very busy, it is difficult to see everything that is happening. I think a simpler background with greater constrast between it and the items would be great. Also, it would be nice to have empty hunger icons, similar to how there are empty heart icons, so that you could easily see precisely how hungry your character is. Not too keen on the checker board, but the rest of the quartz looks wonderful! Thank you for making such a great pack!
Great to here! I know i can't please all with every texture but hopefully people can forgive the odd thing they aren't keen on if most of is to their liking I love using the furnace its like youre really cooking, others have commented a long the same lines its actually fun to cook The hunger items are now all fixed i finished the HUD hearts etc fully now so in the next release you will be able to use that properly.
Good to hear on the quartz, i will change the checker texture as not many like that so will make it more plain quartz, and leave the check as an Alternative.
Hey, gorgeous texture pack, I will definitely use it when it's closer to completion.
I particularly like the diamond sword/tools, very unique, very nice.
Mind if I make a couple of suggestions?
-In the hunger bar it might be better to have an image for empty points (a bone for example). I like to see how many points I need to fill up
-Personally I really dislike stone textures that are not smooth (and as I say, I know this is just my taste) and look so similar to cobblestone. Unfortunately your pack does just that! Do you think you could offer alternate stone/ores textures?
This is of course just constructive criticism, and I really look forward to seeing this pack develop

I have a lot of the pack still to do before looking at making alts but this a long term project and with lots of mod support to create as well
I can imagine that playing a survival lets play without a complete hud is a little awkward Will see what i can do.

YES!!!! Lava!!!!! Lava, mobs, tools, thats all I need finished and so far I think their all PERFECT. Please try to add a new release with these textures in!
Mobs are AMAZING btw and I have started designing houses XD
By the way, hit F1 to hide the GUI so you get a nice clean screenshot!

I have to tell you what an awesome job you have done here,I really liked the misa pack alot or sphax was the other one i used quite often but you my friend are with no question the most talented artist i have come across yet,so kudos to sir! Very impressive work I will mos def be using this pack alot alot!!!!

I've been using this for so long AND I FREAKING LOVE IT. I love the lava, the quartz, and everything else that you posted. WHY IS THIS TP SO FREAKING AMAZING!!! My friend said "I don't like it." I said "leave the f***ing call." xD

Thanks so much! Its been said a quite a few times that CH reminds people of a mix of Misa and Sphax and that was my aim all along with the style. Something more detailed but keeps a cartoony charm that fits with the blocky world of MC even in an HD format. I've had many folks say to me they always stuck with default but would use CH now.

Retired StaffEDIT: Also Sharky, if you use Optifine, try using the MipMapping feature. It removes most of the 'noise' of HD blocks at distance.
