Gonna try this a bit later when home.
I used to use Sphax 128x then once 1.5 came along, I tried to again and it was mega slow FPS.
I tried 64 and still terrible, even 32 was playable but looked crap, so wasn't worth it.
I don't know what the problem is, I really don't, which is annoying as I'm at IT technician full time!
Well yeh, advice on that, feel free (I'd post PC spec but not at home on it, if you are curious and want to help, reply and I'll let you know them later).
But back to thread! I'm looking forward to trying this out.
Do you want reporting back with bits and pieces which may be off or wrong or something like that?

I was an avid Sphax user but not used 1.5 as i was already on my pack when it changed over.
Pack Itself:
That pack looks really nice. It has in my eyes a really nice cartoon-ish touch and of course it reminds me a bit of sphax's PureBD Craft but i like yours more cuz I like that style that u used there. Keep it up!
Shaders:
I tried that pack to test it with shaders. It works fine for me, I use atm the 128x Version (Non and Shader Version) and chocapics13's Beta Shader for 1.5 with the V10 Edition from Alexei03 as Shaderpack and it looks incredible. Also tried the Shaderfiles from the Chroma Hills Page but its too shiny for me. Running that with 2880x1620 (downsampling) with around 30-35FPS. (Tested with my 660gtx)
Bugs:
I dont know but the boat is a bit buggy it has no deck floor...
Thank you, and yes Spahx was my only pack i used and loved but i wanted try an create something as bright and colourful but with more detail but still looked like the style belonged in Minecraft and it all flowed. I don't get on very well with photo real packs due to everything being block based.

I havent tried those shaders, so i may have to have a look. When using Chroma hills shaders you must set the lighting to MOODY or it will be too bright.
AH yes for some reason the texture for the boat was uploaded with an old file and its missing the bottom! I have fixed this now and in the next update it will be correct
If i knew how to use shaders Id surely try this out on a new MC world for the entire experience. But everytime Ive tried using them they dont work xC lol. There are just to many out there with there own instructions on how to install and they never seem to work for me. Might just be my computer though. Ill be sure to try out the regular TP though. This looks simply amazing.

Thanks very much Well if you really want to try the shaders I have already helped a number of people who couldn't get them working who now have them running totally fine with CH Best thing is to register on the CH website ( then follow the FAQ on the website) see how you get on. Then post in the support thread if/when you struggle. Also have a read of this thread as I helped someone get them running and now all is great. Might I suggest a few things: the "H" and the "J" are a bit messed up when you type them. I am using the 128x no shaders version, updated to 1.5. Thanks!
Well it's probably a dumb question, but... the shader files downloadable from CH site, they require another file, right? So where do I download the main shader file?

This TP is amazing, good work! I've been waiting for a few weeks and now that it's available I'm very impressed.
So far, I only have two quick notes:
- Personally I'd really prefer a different font. I've replaced my copy with the sphax font
- The potato/baked potato images are swapped.

Ah the font is a work in progress and needs some sorting and its too skinny and needs fattening up..........or i will just do a whole new one as i'm not that fussed

The actual CH shaders and the Shadermod you need are in the direct download section under all the pack files. You will need Optifine A8.

Ahh well I think I finally understood what to do. I added everything correctly and it worked perfectly So thanks for that. Sadly though it made my game really laggy and basically unplayable. I guess my poor laptop cant handle it xD Oh well. Eventually Ill get a new pc here thatll be able to. Can only wait till then. But from what I did see everything looked beautiful. Very well done. Ill definitely be using the none shader version
I just downloaded the 64x64 (no shaders) texture-pack. It's truly remarkable. I am blown away with it. Great job!
The only small gripe I have is the circular reticle is a little distracting to look at. Any way to change it? Thanks!
Edit: Oh, and I encountered a small glitch with the texture-pack! When I try to hang a painting, it turns invisible and I can't see it until I knock it off the block and try to re-hang it again. I'm not sure if this is because of my Minecraft, or because of a glitch with the texture-pack.

Thanks so much, I was going to to shrink the recticle its on the list to do, also the paintings dissapear at the moment because i haven't filled all of the texture file yet, so when you see a blank space its an invisibile painting All stuff i will update as time goes on.
Really looking forward to 32x as the 64x is amazing, it really slows down my minecraft!
Thanks Ah something that may slow down the 64x a bit more than other packs is that I'm using the higher quality tools/Items/mobs from the 128x pack to give a bit more detail. If this is a real problem I'll scale the items to 64x but maybe keep the tools/weapons higher. You can also turn off the CTM and Animation.
Guys, those using the 64x pack give us an idea of frame rates, compared to other 64x packs
Oh and totally random but has anyone stuck a pumpkin on their head yet........its quite fun lol

Oh thats just so nice to hear, as i know many people saw pictures and some test videos as I made progress on the Discussion thread so to hear they are pleased when actually playing is wonderful as i felt a little pressure Please also do sign up on the CH forums all fans welcome there

It did pretty well over there but yes quite a few new guys coming and saying hello
Watched your latest Lets play......you need to turn CTM to fancy in optifine so the coloured grass works and other neat stuff, also turn off Swamp colours in Optifine to get rid of that horrible brown bimes colour Spotted a few things like wrong texture when the furnace cooks something lol. Oh and dont build a boat as the bottom texture is missing lol ( i can send it if you need it)
A number of fixes on the next update guys as well as the Quartz blocks i'm working on right now
Some of the capital letters have some errors while using optifines custom font setting:
"J" has some random line what makes it look like this "J [" (almost) also "W" has some 2 dots at the corner. Also @ is invisible and H will loose its middle - if you are using the GUI scale: normal setting. Then i couldn't find any other weird letters except that small "q" has a dot after it making it look "q." (i dunno if this is intended).
Also I really like your pack and i'm happy to see it downloadable as a wip today! ^.^

On another note and just so its on record. We discussed many pages back that the Villagers were going to be dwarven (I've used dwarven type symbols for the carved sandstone) i noticed recently another pack that looks to be discussing the same idea. So just wanted people to know that i decided on beardy dwarves ages ago and didn't copy (have a load of reference images ready for them)
On another another note I've started texturing again after all the craziness of getting the website done and getting some CH ready for you all to use.
Work in progress artwork of the Quartz pillars using CTM to have proper tops and bottoms....(thanks Samo for help with the code)
