Okay, Sphax is gone everything not done is now replaced with default!
Have a few things to show, I've got the blocks screen shot people asked for and i've given the bed a much needed overhaul as it was looking quite dated being a very old texture. Also you can see the new look torch flame although i'm playing with the colours still on that.
Love the canvas effect you gave to the painting. It's such a neat little touch. And now I'm totally going to steal that idea.k thnx bai
Ha thanks and go for it Seeing as you have popped your head in I would like to know any other thoughts/feedback you have on the pack and preview if you wish?
What I like:
-All the basic textures (stone, planks, cobble, bed, etc) are truly excellent. The amount of detail work that's gone in to this is awe-inspiring.
-Love the colors and the feel of the natural environment.
-That torch. Hyynsohghlkshlag.
-Your weapons are incredible. I feel like I should bump up the resolution of the items for my pack in order to get that level of smoothness and detail.
What I don't like:
-The cactus. It looks crowded with too many ridges, and the color is too close to lime for my taste.
-The white dots on the giant red mushroom are too perfect and round and evenly space. It feels artificial to me.
-I don't understand the gold block. Is it supposed to look like it's cracked?
-The leaves could use some random CTM. At the moment they create a very noticeable diagonal stripe when tiled.

Gotta say if that's "asking for it" from someone with 3-4 packs great technical and artistic ability I feel pretty chuffed with that I'm may have done a ton of graphic work in the past but it really was in the past and i'm looking back at the first stuff i released for CH and i can see improvements as i've settled back into creating with this medium.
Also pleased you picked up on pretty much most areas that I will revist. When you say leaves did you mean the Oak leaves, not the new spruce as the new spruce I like the but the Oak needs sorting out?

Ha ha a punk with a walking stick (a really jazzed up one) Oh i don't doubt you could find fault in other areas i'm still rusty as hell. I'm never fully satisfied no artist should ever get complacent either, there are some parts i'm really pleased with and others not so.

Thanks for the feedback glad you like it. The 32x is really pushing how much detail can be kept when you scale it down so much, i hope it still goes down well but it's really only being done due to demand i would recommend 64x if you cant go 128x. I'll do my best to keep as much detail in 32x times but it will loose detail.

Okay, re visited the oak leaves, and I really do prefer the more oversized leaf style but not as big as right back at the start and also made it much more holey. I feel it brings the cartoony style more into play and helps reduce things getting to bitty when further away.

Looks good. Still a bit of a diagonal, but it's probably only visible to me because I have hyperactive OCD tendencies. This version is much better.
Good stuff well i'm going to go with those, i can see a hint of diagonal if you do the "squint trick" to those not in the know squint slightly when looking at your textures it blurs the artwork but highlights tiling errors

I got suggestions dont listen if you dont want
-the hilt of the iron sword could do with patterning (maybe a jewel on it??)
-maybe make the blade thinner?
-(if you cant forget about it)can you change the enchanting glow? maybe have something other than the purple flashes. like a golden glow?
-if you do the iron sword could you do a jewel on all the iron tools?(and armour?)
other than that i love it anyway these are only small which dont matter too much

New pics look awesome. To be honest, I can't see any kind of diagonal pattern on the leaves... which I guess is a good thing.
Two things:
I agree, the gold block always has seemed a bit out of place.
The portal texture: Is that different from Sphax? Is Sphax even different from from default? Obviously, I think it looks great and have no issues with it, I was just curious, since you said all Sphax had been replaced.
