You're not crazy - there currently isn't a download link as Syclone wants it to be in a more complete form before it is released. Apparently that time shouldn't be too far away at all though!

Thanks Mr, yes i would rather have as much key textures done as possible.
1: How much does the website cost/who is it hosted with?
2: I think you should now just concentrate on updating all files so they are compatible with 1.5 and then realize a beta which is compatible with 1.5 but has default 1.5 textures.
1.5 was released this afternoon and is now live....
Well, I wont disclose the costs but a friend/business colleague is hosting and we are building the website together also which includes a custom made installer/download client among other things
I'm going to get 1.4 out and then work on 1.5 All the server guys and shader guys are happy with this and pretty much anyone waiting would rather It's just released then i focus on whats next.
This texture pack looks great, take as much time as you need Syclone! The final product will be amazing and we all know it!
Thank you I do have some pressure to release it but that's partly my fault as i underestimated how much i needed done for the main parts to be mostly completed. I also don't want quality to suffer if i do rush it.
Have you done gravel? I think you should do gravel....
I have a gravel but its an old texture and works pretty ok but is one i would like to update.

I did notice you haven't been posting as much *sniff* I miss you G you have been supporting CH from day one No no its fine i know you are a busy guy with so many packs and life on the go. Ok some artwork updates, nothing huge but its all progress
First up we have the wooden shovel, stone and Iron will be up later.
Also for the non shader versions only (SEUS has a bug with this) I've been trying out CTM grass to give some variation....... I plan on adding new types of plant life later but I really want to see if i can get an answer to the SEUS bug so all versions can have lots of variation. There is a problem with CTM and waving shader grass, the grass goes wild and waves all over the place like it is off axis.
Question? How do i stop random CTM from lowering the grass into the ground some of it goes so low it looks odd?
Come on, surely you are done! What more is left to do? I still think you should quickly convert files so they will at least work with the 1.5 layout before you post a release.
Still tools i want to get finished and a few other things, Sharky did you not see the post i made above offering you a preview version to try out?? As you are a builder it would be nice to some screens using CH

RIGHT a quick rant. I TOTALLY understand that people are eagerly waiting for the pack and as i keep saying i'm blown away by the response and people getting behind it.
What i don't expect and have no time for is people getting rude via PM's wondering why i haven't replied to their PM or I'm ignoring them. THIS isn't the way to get on my good side. I have tons of PM's coming in and messages from various places not just here and its impossible to get back to everyone. I'm an older bugger of nearly 40 odd with family and work commitments as well as the pack.
I'm working many many hours and long nights on CH and i'm doing the best I can with dealing with the pack and anything to do with it.
Please guys cut me some slack, the pack was always just a personal project and now its much more and the pressure is on to deliver and I'm doing what i can when i can. Some times, just sometimes being human gets in the way and i'm not on the ball or forget something.
The KEY thing that is crucial to building CH and all that's to come is my enjoyment and things like that I'm afraid i don't enjoy when putting so much effort in.
I've been quietly lurking in in the shadows, waiting for this texturepack, and I must say, it look glorious my friend. I honestly cant wait. I do have a question though. Will you be making some Alternate textures? To add an element of customization to the pack? If not, that's cool.
Again, I'm really looking forward to the release of this pack, keep up the great work.

Hi Syclone, just wanted to let you know that I have just finished putting together my gaming PC so should be able to run shaders very well now (I have a Radeon HD 7970), and so was wondering if you would like me to pick up testing once again? I should have a bit more time now that things have settled down.
As far as I know, that has nothing to do with CTM but is a vanilla feature to add some variation to the tall grass next to random offset on the ground. The new grass looks really good by the way and I´m loving the new tools - especially the stone shovel.

Ah okay. Strange, to my eyes it looked more like they were going further into the ground. Yes i really like the colour variation on the grass now, its a shame i can't put it in the shader version at the moment.

Well i have ended up creating some alts as i try things so we shall see, i really want to get the base pack done as complete as possible so i can start putting time into the tekkit/FTB artwork. CH is going to be a very long running project so never say say never

Thanks, I haven't started on any amour its a very time consuming texture process in high detail. I've collected some reference and it will be more Knight/fantasty type armour.

PS: REMEMBER to post ad.fly or ad.foc links. You will make a great deal from them and I, for one, certainly don't mind waiting 5 seconds for the download, especially if I am helping it's creator!
Re the Links, I will be using one of those and i hope people chose to support the pack through the official download links from the CH website . I always support the people if I download their stuff and never had any issues using the links or waiting 5 secs for peoples efforts.
I won't use url shortners for people just testing just the main pack downloads, and i will not be using them for the CH tweaked shader files they will be direct download will full credit to Sonic/Danxitro I just edit them and spliced some effects together to get the result i wanted.
Right just compiling latest 128x no shader build together, so will have it over in a few mins.
Working on website today, while having sneaky bouts of Tomb raider LOL
There are a few bugs i found with optifine D5 and Modloader. (Dont know whether these mods caused the bugs)
WIth the 128x non shader this happens when I place wooden planks on any other block:
I use MacOSX Mountain Lion if that helps! ! I dont have any other mods except optifine D5 Ultra TMI and Modloader.
By the way I love the top of the grass block! It's amazing! I also encountered a problem though. There was no grass on the side of the block! I'll upload a screenshot soon!
Ah I know why, its the CTM plank files that are in for testing. Delete verticalctm.png and delete terrain 4c 4a 4 properties files in the CTM folder. Also turn graphics to fancy as i haven't replaced some of the Sphax leaves on fast also the side grass needs to be added for fast so for now make sure graphics are set to FANCY
Let me know if things look better after doing that I'm running D5 no probs i would disable Modloader just for now to make sure things work on their own first.
EDIT, just tried it in game and same problem so mucked a file up somewhere. Do what i said above it will be fixed
