Wait! (Runs in like a madman, papers flying) I'm still testing! I just haven't gotten around to taking good screenshots for awhile. I just finished the house I've been working on... Okay, the back wall upstairs isn't made yet, but I finished enough to get a screenshot with it looking finished! Here it is with your pack!
I would be happy to help test as well
I have a bunch of complex build and my server has even more.
This is one of the best looking packs(IMO) that ive seen so far.
Hi thats great to hear glad you like it As above let me just see where things are at and i'll look at a few more testers

Ha hey G didn't half make me laugh with that opening sentance!
Oooh nice house! You have an old update Mr! You got some old textures in that pic, i'll buzz the new pack over now with my tweaked custom SEUS shaders also.
Just saw your thread on reddit (frontpage ofc) and apparently you didn´t expect how much traffic such a large community can cause, that it just killed your dropbox account. ^^ So maybe try to relocate your pictures to another host else while you still draw everyones attention over there.
And I forgot to mention that even though your mushrooms look great, the red one needs some more work on the cap in my opinion, because right now it looks more like plastic and is just too plain, especially compared to the brown one.
Cheers Moo, i'm getting it kinda under control kinda!

I've put a video up with a little walk about, @ sheep i used your map and i've put a link back to your Pixel perfection so you will prob get even more traffic through!
Uh, sorry. I noticed your pack eventually, but I was just thrown by that Minecraft on a calculator!
That is pretty cool, though. If any site features a pack, but doesn't have a download, it means they are just that impressed by it! If it were like the other sites people complain about that are looking for publicity, they wouldn't bother unless there was a download for them to take, but without one, they just must really like it!

Do I spot that hole you dug for the breaking animation video next to those wolves?
Looks nice! I wish I could build like that. Nice video as well.
Out of curiosity: do you plan to make a new thread for the official release, or rework the OP on this one and have it moved outside texture discussion?
I understand your questioning but no not in the slightest. Let me explain, i needed a template that was in 128x128 to work from and seeing as Sphax was the only one I ever used and had in my folder i made a copy of the files so i could start my own back. It could have been any 128x pack just happened i like and used Sphax.
WHY would i re texture PureBDcraft this is CHROMA HILLS quite different but some refer to it as a cross between Sphax/misa
Also can't bear seeing default 16x textures all over the place while working on things in 128x nothing wrong with them it was just a bit jarring on the eyes.
GODMY EYES. THEY ARE IN HEAVENS NOW!!! WHERE IS THE DOWNLOAD. tell me. where is it? this pack needs to be in my minecraft.
Ha thank you that's great to hear! Well its coming soon but not available just yet I've got a bit more work to do before i can release the work in progress download
EDIT also guys it seems that Dropbox are happy I sorted some of the traffic going through and all images are restored again i'm un suspended yay
Got stuck into the Veg growth today so carrots and potatos are finally done. Also did a video capture of making them but will upload that later once edited.
Went for bit of a stylized look not typical looking leafy parts for something different.
And the wheat growth I did a while back to compare.
Seriously...not that my opinion counts for anything, but this is coming along so beautifully.
Without a doubt, if you manage to keep on top of everything...and you seem more than a match for that task...Chroma Hills will become everyone's super HD pack of choice! It has just the right mixture of cartoon/realism (an oxymoron if ever there was one), that works well with Minecraft's style of gameplay. In other words, it's not too cartoony, or trying to be too realistic!
The thing that sold it to me more than anything, was your recent walkabout vid. Very often wonderful looking digital artwork falls down when you come to actually walk through it, but in that vid everything for once matched my expectations and simply looked outstandingly atmospheric. If a pack can match Minecraft's feeling of infinite wonder, rather than detracting from it, then it's a thing of beauty, pure and simple. So far it looks like you are absolutely achieving this, and at break neck speed too! For someone as slow as myself, that alone is amazing.
If you can condense this down to 64x too, you'll have a major Minecraft success on your hands, of that I have no doubt!
I hope everyone will be patient and allow you to do your stuff. You know when you've got a great pack...when you look forward to seeing how the artist will tackle each part of Minecraft, bringing something exciting and refreshing to the mix. To rush it would be a crime. This is not a race, folks...enjoy the privilege of watching something great being created.
I wish you every success SycloneSJS, it will be well deserved.

WOW, been out today and just got back to this!
Where do i start..........thank you so much for the the very kind words and also the support and confidence in what i am creating, my vision and my future goals in bringing my interpretation to the amazing (and already packed world full of talented people on so many levels) which is the Minecraft community.
I am doing my best to stay focused and get the pack to a release stage but must admit it feels a little like being in a pressure cooker with the heat still rising. With high expectations from so many also from what I and many would see as people in high regard within the community like your good self I don't want to let anyone down. I am putting all efforts into this while saving something back to allow my enjoyment of actually creating new content. I started the pack as private project and now a much a wider audience is watching Its quite something that so many like what i'm doing (there are so many wonderful packs already) and many who would normally not look at HD packs have expressed Chroma Hills is the one that has changed their mind.
I gave myself the challenge to take my favorite pack Sphax Pure BDcraft and take it up a few levels in detail while keeping a pleasing style to the eye and also focusing on making sure consistency is top priority and the world feels like all belongs and nothing is out of place. From the comments and feedback in most part i think I've got there with that goal.
With future plans to support as soon as possible the bigger mods like Tekkit and Feed The Beast I actually am really looking forward to working on all the tech and machinery that they use however it is a vast task for one artist so please be patient guys
On the subject of texture size the pack has been created in 128x and 64x will be available also 100%. I have many messages asking for 32x all i can say is I will give it a try but I fear too much detail will be lost.
Also can i just say that the pack wouldn't be where it is without the support I've got from MCforums, from guys testing and those giving constructive crits it really has been such a help!
Right, i'm going to leave it there thanks again Glimmar!
