I am wondering when a new version of the pack will be compatible with 1.9? I know 1.9 probably has weeks of snapshots before its released but it would be cool to try it out with the pack. Not any new 1.9 stuff like the end blocks, just what 1.8 supported. Right now, if I try I get an error that it is incompatible with this version of Minecraft.
This looks really sharp, much better than most "cartoony" resource packs. It's not the photorealistic look I usually prefer (and have put a huge amount of work into in 1.7), but I'm definitely giving it a try for my 1.8 test server.
Client-side crash: MC 1.8, ChromaHills 1.8_v.12 64x, Forge 1521, NEI 1.8-1.0.5-82, CodeChickenCore 1.8-1.0.5.34, CodeChickenLib 1.8-1.1.2.115. Client crashes inside NEI if I look at a block of redstone ore with NEI tooltips enabled. I have a more than sneaking suspicion it's related to the animation effect ChromaHills puts on redstone ore. (But jeepers creepers, is it a cool effect or what?)

I have been crazy busy with a number of projects and life but I have got some updates on the go that I will put some pics up in the week.
The Wither mob and something many have been waiting on the Chain mail armor. As well as a few quick changes/edits like re coloured command blocks etc
The new Chroma Hills RPG server Clans of Chroma has come on in a big way and is in a beta testing stage now, I often pop on there to see how the team and players are doing, so do come and say hello the team have put an immense amount of work in and still going. IP chromahills.net

This is NOT specific to ChromaHills. It is a bug in NEI recommended build 82. It does NOT occur with the current latest CodeChickenCore 1.8-1.0.5.36 and NEI 1.8-1.0.5.104.
If you are using this resource pack with Better Foliage mod, you will need to open the betterfoliage.cfg file, scroll all the way down to the bottom, and set D:saturationThreshold from the default value of 0.10 up to somewhere in the range from 0.20 to 0.25 in order for algorithmically generated "short grass" textures to match your grass blocks. Otherwise, they will be uniformly a sort of off-white bone color.

Sadly I haven't played vanilla minecraft [aside from xbox version] for a good long while.
If I ever head back to a vanilla server that has some fun plugins I will be sure to use this pack, but sadly i'll end up combining the sound files of my other favorite texture pack into your pack lol (ozocraft I have to say has the best music disc files lol)

Are there any updates on getting a version compatible for 1.9? I know its not out yet but they are talking of a pre-release soon. I don't care about getting textures for the new 1.9 blocks. The problem is the serious GUI changes 1.9 introduces. Almost all of the Chroma Hills GUIs are broken with 1.9. I can't really use the pack.
I know Sysclone is busier now. But if just fixed GUIs could be released by 1,9 comes out that would be very cool.
It looks the pumpkin stem textures (there are two: pumpkin_stem_disconnected.png and pumpkin_stem_connected.png) are swapped. I can fix this myself, but you may want to fix this as well for your next release, which I'm looking forward to. The melon stem textures are also swapped.

The creative mode survival GUI is broken and the main survival mode GUI is broken. The boxes to drag and drop items are way off in both.
Also, I notice the compass and clock items are broken. They give the purple and black checkerboard.
One more thing with 1.9. And I see this with other resource packs I have tested too but not with the default pack.
Blocks that you break and show as the spinning item, they are much bigger than they should be. Also the item in your hands (both right and the new left) also show much bigger than they should be.
Super pack, good job but when I use it with shders, SEUS (v10.1 ultra motionblur) willn't use the bumpmapping. Life nexus shaders and robobo 221's shaders are the only to support the bumpmapping and , for me, it's only the grass block what have bumpmapping. I'm shure it isn't the shaders because I tested with another bumpmapping ressourcepack (balea v3.5) and the bumpmapping were good for all the blocks...
ps : I use 1.8.9 optifine HD U H3 and the last version of your pack but it do it also with 1.8 shaders mod v1.12 (installed as a version)
i havent been checked in this forum for a while.. and have been playing minecraft. so whats the news on "Biome O' Plenty" texture pack support? is it cancelled or done? I would appreciated your reply.. thanks!

Don't worry, I'm absolutely certain the pack's going to be fine. Syclone's just very busy on a lot of things.
Of cource I can't give actual updates, as I'm not involved in the RP project. But I know he is not going to stop developing the RP!

Sorry I've been away a while very busy working on various things.
I've been planning to get an update to CH out soon and have found some time to work on a few things recently.
Finally CH now has the all the armor sets as I've completed the chain mail! This will be up in my donor/patreon forum on my website asap

Is there a download mirror? I couldn't find one and Firefox is telling me it'll take 47 hours to download the 100 MB archive.
