I really liked this pack, but on my first night with it it was nightmare. There are no textures for zombies, crippers and spiders, I could see only skeleton archers. So it looked like totally invisible mob attacks me, only shade is visible. Can you investigate this issue? Optifine, 1.8.7
UPD: tried on 1.8.4, works just fine! Just be informed about 1.8.7
Hmm that's an odd one all of the those mobs are done (not the zombie villagers yet) possibly an issue with not enough ram allocated but that shouldn't just effect mobs really

Optifine was just updated yesterday and the changelog addressed the issue you just described.
You should make your own video game, it would look damn pretty.
Thanks Well actually for a little while I've been looking for the right game dev team to take Chroma Hills into its own game, spoken to a few guys and we were close but still looking for the right crew to make it happen
You should invest some time into making a 3D version of ChromaHills.
I'll will add more 3D over time
Okay guys, 1.9 update broke the pack a fair bit so working on sorting that. I've fixed all the models now like the 1.8 doors etc so that's something out the way
Hey Syc, long time no speak, again. I don't really play Minecraft or browse this forum much anymore. I just saw the new blocks posted above. They look fantastic as always, keep up the good work. Seems so long ago that I stumbled across this thread and begged to get early access to it. Best of luck on the pack in the future

This is by far my favorite texture pack I've found!
Has anyone played around with the Glowstone texture though? In the Nether, the naturally spawning Glowstone looks like a cool glowing plant, but when you mine it or craft it, the texture changes completely to more of a lamp look. Has anyone found a way to use the natural spawning look instead of the crafted or mined version?
Hey all, apologies for being quiet recently there has been a lot going on in the world of the Syclone.
Since creating Chroma Hills resource pack as its grown in popularity and people embraced my work its turned into quite the adventure and opened a number of doors of opportunity for this 'ol boy. It's been amazing and in the last weeks lead on to something pretty dayum coool
I've accepted a offer and taken a full time position as Senior Creative/Project lead at Mineplex (those who don't know) its one of the biggest Minecraft servers in the world and a flourishing games company.
I'm really excited to be working with the team and having a lot of fun creating/directing/managing the art and visuals side of the company as it continues to expand and grow.
What does this mean for Chroma Hills?
Don't panic,I have no plans to stop working on the CH pack. It's because of CH i'm doing what i'm doing now and do want to continue on with it for me and the millions of people who enjoy it and the 1000's that have supported it with donations.
What will be a factor is how much time I can give to working on it, what with Mineplex and some other projects plus family/life etc
There's also an amount mods that have been started also.
So Chroma Hills is not going to be stopped but I can't commit as much time but i'll certainly push on with it best I can. Probably more in getting the pack finished rather than creating lots of fancy extra connected textures for example. Mobs is kind of a priority plus get the Chain mail armor done.
Keep up your spendid work, Syclone! You're a true artist with all these textures.

Woow, absolutely amazing Syclone! Good work.
So have you fixed all 1.9 issues already, or is there more work to get it compatible?
I really like the purple blocks, because youknow I like purple
Those magical symbols are also a great touch to it. Love it.

just replace the crafted texture with the natural texture
