Hey! Thanks mate It turned out quite an update i didn't release how much I had been doing but this update jumps the pack up in a high level of consistency and quality as i just had to go over some old textures/art and rework them as they were letting it down i thought.

Very nice! Love the new redstone torch and comparator texture.
But sadly, I'm still seeing non-transparent tree leaves:
As you can see, only jungle leaves render correctly. Another odd thing is that the leave blocks seem to render correctly when I just hold it in my hand. In the screenshot I'm holding an oak leave block and it looks perfectly fine.
I am still not sure if this is an OptiFine issue or not. I've loaded up the Soartex Fanver resourcepack and leave blocks render just fine with that pack.
Can you please look into it?

I assume you did set your graphics to fancy again?
Also, make to go to Details menu in Video settings and set trees to fancy. (If you haven't done that)

Man, I waited so long for this! I love the villagers, they're awesome! It's a shame that the golden armor set is a terrible piece of crap if compared to iron or diamond ones (resource-wise speaking), but I find your texture so gorgeous that I'm going to place it in armor stands.
I want to comment on all the changes individually, but I think there is no point doing that. Your work is fantastic!
One question, though... Do you plan to make versions of Steve and Alex?

I have the same issue with the newest versions of Optifine (versions after B5, I think). May be some lack of tweaking the settings, I don't know for sure.
Also, the Jungle Leaves are only transparent with Connected Textures on Fancy. Otherwise all leaves are opaque, even with Graphics on Fancy.
On pure Vanilla 1.8.1, they are all transparent as should be
By the way, I have Catalyst 14.9 (for shader compatibility) installed.

Got to play with this, and have to say this was probably one of my favorite updates thus far! Great work! Love haing all the redstone stuff finished now. Also really like the UI updates and that magma cream was a surprise! Looks awesome.

A "Multiplayer - Stock Texture Compatibility" pack.
Would there be a possible update / optional pack to change the current glowstone texture and use a more rock like texture for the glowstone? And similarly, an optional update for stained glass. The reason I ask is while I love using your textures, when I play online I know other people are not using them, and it means that sometimes I make really wonky looking things, basing them off the textures in the pack, and then switch to default and go "Wow, that looks weird". Stained glass and glowstone tend to be the biggest culprits of this for me. Sorta just looking for a "best of both worlds" patch I guess. LOL

In the versions 1.0.10 and 1.0.11, alot of the blocks have this weird texture issue in which the blocks have weird rainbow colord lines going acroos the blocks instead of having the texture that it should have
The 1.8 versions are the ones with the issue, one of the blocks is the stone bricks.

Stained glass and glowstone tend to be the biggest culprits of this for me. Sorta just looking for a "best of both worlds" patch I guess. LOL

AH great to hear the update going down well Its not high on my agenda to make an addon pack to make it even closer to default but for your private pack you can replace the glowstone with the nether glowstone texture if you look in the CTM folder

I would use a different version of optifine but it is the only one that the latest one that shaders mod is compatible with

I know lol, i figure it is issues with the latest optifine but the issues do go away as soon as i go to the 1.7 versions of the resource pack
Oh, and I don't want to be rude by saying this, but I think the jungle leaves are a bit empy, you should see about doing something to fill the empty areas like adding branches and maybe add some other things to it.
