Ahh you have the the wrong version if you are using SEUS and bump maps. Go to the downloads page at www.chromahills.com/downloads and get this version 1.0.8 SEUS SPECIAL LATEST, it does not have the CTM folder that will cause those lines to appear and had modified textures to work with the bump mapping.

I am having a problem in that my textures do not look like those in the images. I have no bumps or the same colors. I am not using optifine at the moment. I do have Shaders loaded, but honestly with optifine or no shaders it still looks the same.

I cant get bump and normal maps to work. I get one side of most blocks to be light mapped but not more than that. I have tried all versions of seus and chroma hills and I cant get it to work. also I am using optifine and forge if that helps.
Does anyone know why this happens when I use this texture pack?
Most of the block/item textures are just blank.This happens on both my laptop and desktop PC.
I use MCPatcher but haven't changed any of the default settings in there.

Hi, i'm pretty sure that will be down to not enough memory loading in all the textures. How much total ram have you got? Also if you delete the CTM folder that has an extra 2000 odd textures in it it will help load my pack when you have limited memory. I would change the -Xmx600m to Xmx1G or even 2G if you can.
the leaves for oak trees i think are too spread apart and make it feel very empty when playing with "fancy" graphics
AHHHHHHH WELL spotted! I uploaded the wrong the oak leaf texture to the latest updates! They should have branches mixed in the with the leaves so they are not all empty looking
I have just fixed it and re uploaded the 3 latest updates.
Also I made the fix to the 64x CTM folder that was using 128x textures by accident

I recently came back to Minecraft and with Misa not able to update her pack chroma hills is really growing on me and starting to become my favorite at least for some blocks. I just really wish it was complete at lease for older stuff that's been out for a long time but I know you're working on that so keep up the awesome work.

Ah you will need to enable the bump mapping feature known as Parralax occlusion mapping (POM) in the SEUS shader files.
"You can enable parralax (bump/extrusion) mapping by changing "//#define PARALLAX" to "#define PARALLAX" inside the "gbuffers_terrain.fsh" file in the shader pack"

Heya well yes it looks like Misa has had a lot of real life to deal with and we all wish her well I'm pleased you are giving CH a go and finding something you can enjoy from it, although yes it's still a WIP pack and there are still common textures i haven't got round to yet

I think I've figured out that it happens when I use the NoVoidFog mod for 1.7.10, which is weird, as on my Minecraft profile, the exact same settings work with this texture pack (the profile where it doesn't work is my girlfriends).
So I have MC 1.7.10, set to use 1G of RAM, using ChromaHills 128x, MCPatcher + NoVoidFog = Everything works perfectly.
She has MC 1.7.10, set to use 1G of RAM, using ChromaHills 128x, MCPatcher + NoVoidFog = As shown in my image.
I've unpatched the game, removed MCPatcher, ChromaHills and NoVoidFog and re-added them all, and it still doesn't work for her. Even if I switch to her profile on my PC, it doesn't work, but as soon as I login to my profile, it works fine.
I'm so confused! She's just going to have to put up with Void Fog

Well couple of items ticked off, Leather and gold nugget
I'd like to point a few things out that I've noticed and would appreciate a fix.
Side grass is flat and shiny using SEUS
Coloured windows are not see through when using SEUS
Lava makes cactus and reed nearby yellow. Not sure if other things also have this happen to them.

Ah ha there was a normal map missing for the side grass! Seeing as I'm in a good mood tonight I've made one and linked it here
Anyone using SEUS just save as on the image and drop it in the CH pack zip in the BLOCKS folder
The other things you mentioned I have no control over as they are to do with SEUS and not the pack. I spoke at length with Cody about the transparency of the stained glass and its something he has only a small margin of transparency to play with due to limitations of how the effect works. Basically the more transparency the more you will see DEFAULT non shader visuals when looking through glass so to hide this he keeps the glass a little more less see through than we would all like.
Well, technically there are only160,016 trillion unique flags. Although in practise there are a bit less, as some patterns may cover others completely. Say hello to snapshot 14w30b

This pack looks strangely similar to sphax. Still you've done a good job and I like the cartoony feel with a realistic edge to it. Could do with some minor tweaking.

Thanks, many say its like Sphax and Misa had a baby To be honest i played Sphax a lot but didn't like the photo real packs so my vision was to keep the bright cartoon like charm but with more detail. Side by side Sphax and CH are very different in art direction, they are other packs out and being worked on that have much more similarity to Sphax than CH
I like it! Especially the bowl. The only flaw I can find is that they're too similar in color. Maybe a bit more greenish in general, or a bit of green here and there..(in the fermented one)?
BTW, what is that white thing that is inside the bowl?
Hmm yeah i'll make the colour a little different The white bits are the mushrooms that making up the ingredients Eye, mushrooms, sugar.

Aw thanks it didn't come out to bad i wasnt sure about making it not so solid but it kinda works

I've reworked the soul sand with less obvious faces and a more detailed look
Also added some extra bits to the gold ore
