So, i'm running behind on getting the next update out I may be able to get it out later today/tomorrow but it may have to be early next week as real life stuff has got me rather busy this weekend.
Here's what the next update "should" have in it, this may change. Not my usual huge update i like to put out but still a fair amount.
[CHROMA HILLS CHANGE LOG V1.0.8 (these changes will be in the next version/release)

Chickens (with random variations)
Slimes
Iron Golem (with rusty random version)
Farmer Villager (just delete from pack if you want them all default until i have finished)

Splash bottle fuse added

Stained glass all added but some will be temporary and will change later

SEUS
Many normal maps added
Some more specular maps added
I absolutely love this texture pack, it truly is an amazing piece of work (especially the shaders aspect of it)! Do you plan on making textures for villagers sometime in the near future? Also, do you plan on making a 256x version of this amazing texture pack?

I have made a start on the first villager, much later i may look at trying some techniques to up scale the pack to 256x (i have had a play with some good results)

Sounds great! I'm looking forward to seeing the future 256x whenever it comes out. That villager also looks epic and it matches the theme nicely as well.
Well just remember guys I will need to get the main pack fully done before i look at 256x and the 32x must come first as many, many players are requesting it
Been working some more on the paintings for the release.
Those paintings look certifiably amazing. Bit of an interesting choice to have the iron golem painting with SEUS features, but you've done a great job at giving it an artsy feel. EDIT: wow, just noticed how perfectly the SEUS shadows work with your paintings... makes them look even less like paintings and more like in-game objects

yay! the villager is really matching the whole chroma hills style and I love the unique facial features. can't wait to see them implemented thanks for keeping this incredible texture pack up to date!

Just got the new update, thanks alot Syclone, excellent as always.
I must say, i always imagined Slimes as goofy enemies rather than 'eat your face' evil enemies, Like a square version of Wobbuffet from pokemon. Thats just me though, they look awesome anyway.
Ah cool, well I like to try something different with the characters but i have thought about having a MOB add on pack that keeps them very much like default and all friendly fluffy/cute.
I may have to look for another pack until its fixed. It is by the far the best out there so its going be tough to find one worth using. Either that or I hold off on using redstone. It look AWFUL with this bug.
UPDATE: I guess ALL resource packs have this problem. Why Mojang decided to break the redstone for everything is beyond me. So I bet if you fix it for these snapshots, you break it for the releases. Good job Mojang.
Very nice recourse pack! I'm loving the new update with full SEUS support. But I have encountered a few little problems. When I enable POM (With Sonic Ethers unbelievable Shaders v 10.1) The south and west sides of blocks look kinda derpy. It's almost like they want to use POM, but they just can't. Here's a picture of what I mean. (West side has the same effect as the South side) Also, Birch trees are sometimes black. You can see one in the background of the image.
Yep Connected textures folder needs to be disabled/removed for POM to work (i did this in the SEUS only release) also the black trees only happens in Optifine and to fix it turn OFF custom colours in quality settings
I know it wasn't the big update i would usually put out but with all the work we are doing on the servers I just didn't have the time.
Talking of the server, we have pretty much finished our new main HUB and the creative HUB. Very proud of the main HUB build but it was tough going, i wish i made the dome structure not so complex! Massive thanks to the guys working on the builds it was lot to do!

ALSO folks i think its pretty much decided that Biomes O Plenty will be the first main Mod supported I've had a lot of call for it
Also I'll be working on a custom/addon pack for a new game mode we are developing for the CH server network.
