Can anyone point me to which pack to download to use with the Sues shaders in 1.6.4? Does the pack in the "Other Downloads" sections work? It says its for 1.4.7 and 1.5 though ... ><
also - how would i install them? just drop them in the resourcepack folders like the main tex. pack?
Hiya, best ones to go for are these Chroma Hills Ver: 1.0.6 LATEST FOR 1.6! Texture Size: 128x128 File Size: 65mb
I should be putting the next update out in a couple of days and this will contain more SEUS normal/bumpmaps
Yes just put the whole zip file in your resource pack folder then select it in game. It does take a little while to load in game so just wait until it appears.
New stone ready for the update, just going through seeing what i will be releasing for 1.0.7

Great work so far, Syc! Everything is looking very professional. What percentage, roughly, of blocks have maps for SEUS of the ones you've finished so far in the upcoming update?
What _Lucrezia meant was that since the shaderpack combined with your resourcepack led to bright enderman and spiders, he wanted you to make the background of the enderman and spider eye textures to be transparent to fix the problem that is bugging him.
Yeah i have no control of the positioning and also yes the sword is right on the pixel limit so i would have to draw the blade shorter move the hilt up and lengthen the handle.
May be keep yourself open to that option, it's only like a 5-10px difference, also you could just remove the hilt all together.
I love this pack and I can't wait for the new update, I really don't want you to feel rushed but you shouldn't have posted so many great teasers!!! Keep up the good artwork btw.
for some reason the colored glass keeps going invisible, am i the only one this is happening to? i tried looking for help but i couldn't find any
Ah i had this happening i think after i turned mip mapping off it was okay. Give that a try and let me know, It did stop it happening if it wasn't that it was something else i tried
Thanks for letting me know, he doesn't link the pack in his description or tags so it doesnt come up in any searches for Chroma Hills I found it and seems to be enjoying it
Okay glowing mobs with SEUS is fixed folks just the eyes glow now
Another tweak done, I've actually been asked to do this a few times and it kept slipping my mind. Trapdoors now can be seen through to make lanterns/lights

Since I put trapdoors over glowstone for lighting posts, this is perfect!
I really like this texture pack, the feel of it is very good, and the overall consistancy is excellent.
If I may, a couple thoughts / suggestions.
(As a graphic artist, I love constructive criticism, hope you don't mind!)
First off, the wood textured.
While they are well drawn, they are...well... boring. I don't mind a wood texture that is flat, but they are all flat, there is no variation in the wood, just a solid color. The wood will have parts that are lighter, and parts that are darker, right now it's all the same shade, and it really detracts from the visual interest of the wood. To a degree, that works for Spruce and Pine, but Oak and Acadia have more variation, and it makes them look beautiful. Google an image of Acadia flooring, it's super beautiful, almost like Maple wood. Light boards butted against dark boards, wood grain that really stands out. Consider adding that variation into the wood types, and see what you think. (As another reference, the spruce wood in John Smith's texture pack is like this, and it really adds interest to the texture!).
Second: The Icons.
Maybe it's just me, but there is something missing. Hard to put my finger on it, but I find that I can't readily identify things in my inventory. They recede into the background, and I find myself hunting for things that on other texture packs I don't. Not certain what exactly it is about them, but there is something that makes them hard to readily identify.
Again, it's a beautiful pack, and it's become my default now. Thanks for all the work you've put into it!
