So.. I'm new to MC, but have known pretty much all about for a while now. So one of the first few things I did was search for a texture pack. Chroma Hills was about the 4th one I downloaded, and the only one I stuck with more than 5 minuets. I love it all. Its all so nicely done I think the armor and diamond tools are my favorites.. Just wanted to thank you for a very nicely done texture pack.

I'm just hoping I can find a nice dark forest or mega taiga a long way away from spawn - those are my two fave biomes and a long way from spawn makes for less/no griefers. (Cause honestly, they are impossible to catch until they've already done the damage, and they never bother to go a long way out from spawn because there aren't so many people to grief and the people a long way out tend to cause more trouble.)
45k square huh, well that's gonna be some interesting exploration, find a nice quite area to build something epic, maybe on a Mesa
It's actually around 90k square; I should've said the map is 45k by 45k, as that's what it actually is. It's pretty big, heh. And if you like mesas, you should see mine.
By far one of my most favorite texture packs. was just wondering if there was a shader pack available for 1.6.4? This looked amazing on 1.5 but on 1.6.4 using seus the water looks metallic?
Heym thats great to hear pleased you enjoy it There are various shader packs you can use. The Chroma Hills shaders in 1.5 wont work on the latest releases unfortunately. Look around for other shader packs other than SEUS as they all give different looks

So folks, finally back on texturing CH been working on the Ender Chest so this here's some work in progress so far......no lid yet but good to be working on textures again
Looks like a texture patching issue, make sure you have mcpatcher or optifine installed and you are using its' corresponding profile from the launcher.
Wow, alot has changed since I last checked out the pack. I remember waiting for the big release and now it's almost at half a million downloads? Great job dude, gonna install shaders and check out this beast of a pack in it's true glory
EDIT: Having the same problem as the user above with the birch trees. It's Just the birch trees, I've checked the settings and there doesn't seem to be anything that could cause this. I am running Optifine HD A9 Ultra I believe so it's not that I haven't patched it :/ Shame, I will try and find a solution. Maybe it's just a issue with the textures, I will check that first.
EDIT 2: Just turned off custom colors in settings and it fixed it, I assume it's a bug with the colormaps?
EDIT 3: Definitely a colormap problem, birch trees look fine in river biome

Hmm i had colour map issues before but they were fixed and i can't get mine to show black.......... i'm on MC patcher not tried the latest 1.7 Optifine preview yet
I REALLY LIKE THAT ENDER CHEST. btw why dont you try and get someone to help you with the pack to speed up the process a bit.
i think he's thought of that before the only problem about that is if someone helps they may have wanted to make the pack a completely different way, ending up causing an argument or destroying the pack altogether.

Glad to hear it I'm very picky about the consistency and quality of the work so at least for the main pack it will be all me BUT am talking with others about forming a CH MOD team
Maybe it's a problem with optifine then, I will check with some other packs that have custom colours.
I'm so enjoying the better glass now i'm not sure if i can switch back to Opti.......never thought i'd say that!! MCpatcher really needs to have its better sky fixed though, the fog needs removing to blend properly!
