Umm I started to really dislike the Chroma Hills logo so I umm started work on another one. Its not finished still details to add here and there but this what I've done so far. This will also lead into a improve menu GUI......gone off that too! lol
I know i should be doing other textures but sometimes a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do!
Random thought...after seeing the new logo, maybe you can make some of the menu GUI look textured instead of flat..like the "Singleplayer" and 'Multiplayer" button. You could add the grooves of the wood into the menu GUI. Me thinks it would be cool

I would love to do really detailed wood grain the problem is the game takes a section of the menu bars and repeats it to make them longer which means you have have basic a repeating pattern or something low detail so you can't see the joins. See what i can do.
i like the first one the most. with the buildings in the background. because not only does it show off the textures in wood for people to already have ideas with before they download it, it also showshard work and effort. and i dont know about anyone else but im all about good textures on the leaves. and you have some of the best which is why i like the first the most.
ehh but now that i think of it the one in the forest looks awesome too. because when i like to try texture packs i wanna know if im gonna have a bad forest or a awesome forest. and the forest one gives more of a natural beauty to it that kinda advertises "you dont even have to build anything and this texture pack will appeal to your eyes."

Thanks so much pleased to hear One day it will be finished and modding has already started Feed the beast is being out into action slowly. Many mods will be supported.

Sorry progress pics have a been a bit slow recently folks, i'm working on 2 other games as well and had to really get stuck in to make some progress.
I'm planning a big push on getting a lot of the items that aren't done sorted for CH so will have some new stuff to show shown.
Just realise having a texture for the iron golem is going to be nice. Made an iron foundry on my mini server.
Had to rebuild 12 times, very annoying.
Banners and logo are HUGE improvements. Reflects the pack better.
sharky its easy to get a banner here i'll help you out.
1. choose the banner you like
2. Right click the picture and click "copy URL"
3. after copying the URL go to your profile
4. Once on your profile click the green button that says "Edit My Profile"
5. To the furthest left you will see a white box that has categories in it. click the box that says "Signature"
6.after you get there then clear out all of your signature box because you already have to many banners it wont allow anymore.
7. you know where you post right? of course you do you have 556 posts. XD in the box where you type look to the top left.
8. do you see what looks like an "on" "off" switch, click it. ( after clicking it the letters should have got smaller and you shouldn't be using "Arial" font anymore )
9. now paste the URL
10. Click "Save Changes" and your banner will pop up in your signature.

Or you can, you know, just do what I did and select the banner, click copy, go to your siggy, and click paste. xD

Cheers Frof, i started to get quite annoyed with the old logo and that it didn't centre well.......
So i think this will do, a few more details and colour changes. Also a slightly more squashed version for the title screen
Now to sort those menu bars......eek they look poor now.

Click the download link on the first page or click here http://www.chromahills.com/forum/downloads.php
