I cant wait for this to become available. It looks so awesome! I will be downloading this the moment it is published. =D Anyways I just though of an idea for the soul sand. Maybe make it look like sand at first but then have those animated faces phasing in and out of the sand? What do you think?

Hi glad you like it Click the follow button at the top of this thread as i'm updating all the time if you want to see what's going on.
Good idea with the Soul sand it's more down to if my animation skills are up to it.
That soul sand animation is fantastic!.. -Ly creepy!
If you could make the mouths move a bit slower, then it would seem more like the subtle movements of the undead.
Its only a test so far to see if what you said i could do something with
I've only got 4 frames in the animation at the moment so when i start adding the tweens the frames that fill out the animation between each key frame of movement i can slow it down
Yea totally agree there also. Anyways using this texture pack I would never want to step in soul sand again! lol
Ha its a bit unerving isn't
Right, i'm up for some more terrain block texturing what we would like to see next guys as i'm being indecisive again scanning over the terrain.png at what's left!?
hrmm... I would like to see your take on the redstone repeaters... Don't know exactly why, but it is one of few textures remaining, and it is used quite a bit in both creative and in survival.

Good suggestion G thanks, I got on to it soon as i could.
Here's the Red stone repeater I've done. Really didn't want it over complex as on quite a few packs they look too techy and don't flow with the pack.
Everything looks great! I guess you don't have many blocks left to do in terrain.png?
Thanks, i'm getting there but there's still actually quite a few remaining to do......... at a quick count its still forty odd blocks but some of those are things like Saplings and a few other other not so used blocks. Remember also this 1.3.2 so i'm going to have to update it soon to work on the blocks that have been added.
I've done a new Sandstone tonight guys what do we think? (click image to see more detail)
Corner, let me know what you thought of the Repeaters after you request if you haven't seen them above.
The repeaters look great. As I expected!
The wood slot, as apposed to the redstone slot, actually makes a lot more sense to me, and has that unique look. The pointer is good and doesn't make it too red, I like that you didn't re-use the red light and made that white. Those three pieces in the corner are also a nice addition! I agree with you, overly complex repeaters are quite redundant, the original point of repeaters is to make redstone circuits simpler, but a complex texture on it makes it look messy anyway.
The stone slabs look good, the smooth brick pattern looks good and fitting. Perhaps you could make vertical CTM for it, so the top piece... thing, would only be on the top.
The sandstone looks nice, and the brick pattern is once again nice, but I think it should look just a slight bit more "powdery" and a bit more beige in colour so it would look more like sandstone. Maybe for one of the other sandstone textures you could have fancy, ancient text engraved in the same brick pattern (okay, it would be random shapes. But line it up so it looks like text).
I still have yet to find anything noticeably wrong. Very well done on those!
Those repeaters are fantastic, and I'm glad the sides of the slabs are done, although I do agree with corner that CTM to ensure the top "thing" is only at the top. (This is necessary for those sandstone slabs/bricks/blocks? that you can see around the windows bit in your sandstone picture.)
Once again, I also agree with corner on the colouring of the sandstone. It could definitely benefit from being a bit closer to the colour of your sand

Good to hear the repeater gets you seal of approval They just "work" nicely in game and i'm happy enough.
I will add CTM for the slabs and i've played a bit with the sandstone, the bricks are totally covered in engravings, should look nice in temples, pyramids and ancient builds as well as an air of mystique when found in the desert bio on survival...... well that's the thought process anyways.

Great to hear Alex, noted on the CTM and also the sandstone it will be sorted
Played with the sandstone colours/contrast moved the side slab to the top also.
oops... I didn't actually enlarge the screenshot, so I thought it was part of the rough texture. Now that I actually look at it, it is nice and does look like engravings. So I imagine it would look nice in a desert temple, or pyramid.
So... Different thing, I got my new computer for Christmas (desktop, much more powerful), and it is definitely capable of running the shaders mod, but I keep getting the same error on installation. There is one file that it needs, but it must been changed because I've tried renaming the file and deleting the file, and it still has a problem relating to that file. I noticed that SEUS hasn't been updated, and is still only up to Minecraft version 1.2.5. Do I need to go back to that version of Minecraft to run it? Or am I looking at the wrong page?

It works now, and everything looks excellent! Though my pack needs to be toned down a lot for use with that. My pack is almost pure white with it.
How did you make your water compatible with the water shaders, though? I looked through your pack and can't find a file relating to the water, but my pack only gets ugly vanilla water. Is there something my pack needs?
Never mind. I figured it out. Simple terrain.png water image colour thing.
For your pack though, I'd have to agree that Endstone would be an interesting block to see.
Those are truly some of the most fantastic end portal slot that I've ever had the pleasure to lay my eyes upon. Their simplicity and smooth lines along with superb color choice combine to make them possibly the highest quality work I've ever seen.
JK- I know that they're just templates.
But seriously, this pack really is looking amazing. When you release it to the general public (on the "texture packs" page) I wouldn't be surprised if it's a hot topic with 500 downloads before the page has even loaded after you post it. (And depending on your internet speed that could be quite impressive...) Anyway, this pack gets my vote for #1 in the 128x category. As I mentioned before, the blend of cartooniness and reallisticness is really masterful. I don't have a problem with the non-pixeliness of higher resolution packs- I just think that they usually look weird (and a bit distasteful in my opinion) when it's a picture that looks like it was pasted onto a cube. You've somehow managed to make an HD pack that isn't completely cartoony (such as Sphax or Dragon Dance- both good packs- (Please don't smite me Steelfeathers, please, please!) where the textures look... in-place.
Keep it up, and I might post later with some ideas for endstone- unless you've gotten to it too quickly, or I don't actually have any.

The torch only has 4 frames of animation at the moment when I add more I can slow it down, but its a good place holder for now.

Retired Staff*Cough* 128x128...
64x64 is coming soon, and with two available resolutions, it should be extremely popular when it's fully released.

Wow. I'm sorry- I knew that.
:*Hem* Will change post.
