well, I wouldn't worry so much about being far behind. So far, most mods out there seem to be lagging behind on updating to 1.7.2. Even Optifine isn't up yet last I checked. =(

thanks i am hoping i spawn somewhat near it. im am turning on minecraft right now to put in the seed. i hope its not like xbox though (if you put in a seed from a world from an older update its not the same and basically just all water

great i look forward to seeing that mushroom biome. it will be the first one i see in PC. unless its been replaced the that new wood and the desert was replaced with the oak. and the plain stayed the same. hmm so many things could have changed. even though i have the seed there is no garante its at all the same
edit - neat i just realized i ranked up im now a void walker

Thank you, they are real stress for me foliage is a not my strength but the more i'm doing it is helping. Once I have the release out I'll go over a bit more how i do things I'm a VERY messy worker in photoshop! I make so many layers, and cut paste/clone/scale, use layers with partial opacity to blens things, use shadow filters, lighting filters, dodge/burn to name a few. One thing i use a lot is the pen tool, very quick to rough out shapes, like stems, leaves etc



So almost there on the plants, rose bush done! 1 to gooooooooooooo!

the first seed is the one with the multi biomes you wanted. The second seed is a podzol biomes with tall trees and mushrooms scattered about


Needed a break from the plants so I got the red sand done and also changed the Mycelium top texture as It was rather poor before. Also edited the biomes colours to make sure no odd colours appear in 1.7.

Next up is the last 2 plank types I think.

I ummm changed the Oak and Birch wood to have a much bolder grain and I really like it Also using it for the dark Oak or similar and will probably rework the other woods now.

I like it on the dark oak, will use horizontal ctm on dark oak and accacia planks i think to mix it up.

I have to say, the more ingrained look on the wood does look and feel much better.

will the orange on the acacia stay? Maybe add a bit of a dark red tinting to it. *hides under a rock*

It's 5am must sleep! The accacia will not be as orange as that default one in the pic I will get that done later when my eyes stay open

ahh i see no its not muschrooms im looking for its mushroom biomes i am looking for but thanks for the 2nd seed. so yeah what i wanted was the 3 biome one

Doing a fantastic job man. My two favorite texture packs: SpaxBD and Chroma Hills. Keep it up!

I can't wait to use this new update for 1.7.
