I paid for those 8 threads so why not use all their power for rendering useless stuff? CPU temps peak at very comfortable 65oC while doing that
Cool, and I just realized that Chunky uses the CPU, but not the GPU. If anyone has a Firepro w9000, well too bad(if you have a w9000, you would be doing business stuff as that's a 4k card not good for gaming.)
Hello, I'm kind of back I'm glad to see how my favourite pack is progressing. I read through last ~20 pages and love new stuff, especially better grass & leaves support and smooth stone CTM (are those available for download?)

Little bit slow on the pack in the last few days while i sort out some real life things but i'll have something new to show soon.
On another note, i'm very pleased to say that due to my work on Chroma Hills I am now working on some other games with a few other people/teams and i look forward to showing you folks some of what I have been up to. They will be PC/IOS/android platforms and all very different so you will get to see something different from me and who knows you may even choose to buy them

Just thought I'd stop by and report that I still have not resolved my resource pack mad glitching issue. I feel as if I have exhausted all my options now. Nothing I have tried works. So I guess I can't use resource packs anymore.... back to boring old Default.

Oh no, that must be so fustrating Kali! Is it only on one PC have you got the same issue if you try it on a friends/family?
I have my old laptop but I have never had that problem with it, but I'd rather not use it. This newer laptop that I'm on runs Minecraft just about 3x faster than my old one. Everything was fine until I updated this resource pack that one time, not that I'm blaming you or anything. Just using it as a time frame.

Hmm i see, it was more as a test just to see if the same issues happened, even if the performance is terrible it's just to see if the glitches still happen on another PC with the same setup

I've narrowed my issue down to Optifine. Without it, no glitchiness. With it, all the glitchiness. Doesn't even increase my FPS like it should anymore. So and even, if I use a resource pack, I don't get the full experience.

Have you tried other versions? 1.6.4, or snapshots 13w38c or 13w37b? Chroma Hills in particular glitched out like crazy in 1.7 snapshots before I added the colormap thing.

I'll definitely try again when 1.7 comes out. Only reason that I don't try the snapshots is because I currently have two Forge versions that I'm keeping track of: one for each of the two servers I go to. I'd rather not be managing snapshots as well lest I accidentally screw something up and not know what I did or how to fix it.

You could always try Magic Launcher. I use Magic launcher and the official launcer, each launcher boots up a seperate Minecraft .jar.

Melons and spawner things look great Although I'm not sure what the spawn eggs actually are
Well i didnt want eggs, so i went for a early life form with a container its just something different as i didn't want to use Eggs, may still animate it also.
On another note this is a REALLY EARLY progress on the Enderman...........i feel i may give kids nightmares lmao!
It will probably be a little friendlier when finished just working out markings, body parts etc not even 50% there yet.

I couldn't use MC without Magic launcher i have nearly 20 profiles now some with and some with out shaders.
So it looks like Chroma Hills has a new home in the new WIP Resource pack section on the forum.
