Hey! I love this resource pack, but have a few suggestions. I think making some of the wool more bright and vivid would really look cool.
It is also kind of hard to use in survival (I find) because it is hard to tell where it is dark and where it isn't but I don't know if that is a pack issue or if I need to fix my settings. I would agree that redstone torches could be improved and that clay and wool look a bit too similar. But otherwise this is an incredible pack, and I can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks Yep I'm am going to adjust colours for clay as a few people pointed out some issues with the current colours.

Thank, pleased you are enjoying it I do want to revisit the wool, the clay i'm not sure yet i like it quite smooth for builds. I'm not happy with Red stone torches they will have an overhaul at some point

Well firstly def i fixed the issue with using the pack with 1.7 You will need to save and copy this file over the old one. Assets/Minecraft/textures/colormap.




Also folks I've been wanting to improve the sand for ages i think it looks much better and also its now ready for lots of nice random texture details

I liked the old sand a lot, but the new sand is better. It looks more natural then the wavy kind.

It was quite the subject od discussion over the months wasn't it Yep i was worried it would loose its cartoonyness but in game this just looks really good and because it tiles quite nicely being much more sutble i can use random CTM to add lots of nice little details.

Great!, yep if you click it to full screen it still has the waves but just a more realistic look now but still blends well with the other blocks

Okay folks i've uploaded the sand to the donators forum so if you have access go try it out see how you get on

Have around 25 random textures so far thats probably enough! Any ideas for other items/details if they are good i might add them?

It it possible to make some random textures rarer than others? If so, you should add some Diamond tools lost and covered in sand

Deserts are becoming more alive now. I like all the different textures, the little details bring added depth.

I can to a point have some some rarer but i'm not sure if it will be enough and they will show too frequently Def.

Okay added the sand CTM to the donators forum folks.

This week among other things i also plan to redo the diamond, gold and emerald blocks as i really don't like them!

A rather jolly and very positive review of the pack i spotted yesterday!

So it was bound to happen at some point. I was shown today that someone has taken all my work on CH made some edits and called it a new name!

They have been contacted so hopefully it will be resolved quickly, still sucks and makes ya feel a bit crappy.

I would feel more angry than sad, considering he even made a new name. And from the looks from it, he seems to be claiming it as his own. It's like making the iPhone pink and calling it some other name and make it entirely yours.

Edit: May I see it? Just want to see what exactly this person's doing, and what kind of edits that deem it "worthy" to be an entire new pack.

Sorry to hear that man...When you make a great pack such as this, people are destined to steal it and claim it as their own. That's when the power of the ban hammer and report button needs to be used! Sorry to hear this though, and let's hope it doesn't happen again!

Um, sir, I have an AMD A8 APU. I feel jealous for your Xeon. So my Intel i5 4670k won't handle this either...(I didn't get all the pc parts yet, so it's just lying in the room there).

********WAIT, edit: Chunky uses 100% of your CPU on default, change it so it doesn't hog your system and destory your CPU********
