Is there anyway someone could fix the fonts for john smith legacy pack so that it works with optifine. Right now(atleast for me) the fonts get shifted to the right alot and it cuts all the letters off so that there unreadable. If anyone could do this it would be much appreciated.

The 64x version has no deadline, every so often new textures will be done, but don't expect it to be for some time, unless more people start to help with the textures.
I noticed there is no iron golem texture. So I made one:
Hey it's Snapshot time again, not a lot of new textures this time apart from Barrier and a new Iron Golem, thanks for that, it will included in the main pack when 1.8 is released.
Note:- This is a Snapshot Resource Pack only and contains only the blocks that have been added or changed, a complete pack will be released when the next full release of Minecraft has been made.
Make sure you have the John Smith Legacy pack {1.2.8}- 8th January 2014 (also listed on the same page) and also put the Snapshot pack at the top of the list on the Resource Pack screen.
Note that this Snapshot pack is no longer compatible with Minecraft 1.7.4 due to GUI changes, download the older packs for Minecraft 1.7.4, also CTM doesn't work with this latest release until a new version of MCPatcher is released.
Does this still require MCpatcher? I haven't played in quite a while I think I've read somewhere that texture packs are kind of built in now as Resource packs or something?

Yes, MCPatcher is required.
And yes, they are now called resource packs. Instead of a lengthy explanation here, you can refer to this wiki page for an explanation of the new resource pack system that replaces the old texture packs.

I was trying to think of a signature and this is what came up.

The pack will work fine without mcpatcher.
But to get the best out of the pack, I do recommend patching as mcpatcher adds:-
Better Skies, Better Grass, Custom Lighting, Custom Colours, Random Mobs, Random Textures, Connected Glass and more.
On another note, due to the main JSL site going down, I've added the main pack to my snapshot page, hopefully something can be sorted out with the main site hosting but as for now you can get the files from my site.
The positions and enchanted leather armor all have this happening (books and other enchanted items are fine) where the entire slot for the item (rather than just the item itself) has a glow. What's odd is that the same texture pack copied across the network to other PCs do not have this occurring.
I'm not sure if anyone's asked this yet, but does the the 1.6.2 version work with 1.6.4?
It should, I don't recall many or any texture updates between those two versions. Even if there is something missing, it will just use the default texture.

I've seen some Youtubers have the same issue with Vanilla so I believe it's not a resource pack issue, can you test it with the default pack to see if it occurs.

I should have tested this before, and you were right, the problem persists with the vanilla look too, so it doesn't pertain to this texture pack. My findings anyway...
I searched the issue a bit and came across someone else mentioning that updating their drivers helped. Mine aren't terribly out of date, but I did so anyway, although it didn't help the issue.
Thinking about what else could be different between the PC experiencing the issue and the two that aren't, I use anti-aliasing, which in 1.7.x, requires manually disabling the new frame-buffer objects (FBO) rendering, so those are the two things I tested next. I tried disabling any Anti-aliasing settings, which didn't help, and I tried reverting my edit that disabled FBO rendering, and that did help. I'm not sure why a select few items glitch out without FBO rendering, but that seems to be the cause in my case at least. I need anti-aliasing though, so it looks like I'm stuck with it.
Download the latest pack as this has been fixed.

The last version he fully textured himself is 1.2.5, so I doubt anytime soon (if ever).

Sorry for the small error on my part, I added it to the main pack (for release when 1.8 comes out) but not the Snapshot pack.

What's broken, the download link or the pack or something else, more information required.

1.6.4 was just bug fix release, my hosted version is now listed as 1.6.4 (rather than 1.6.2) but nothing has changed in the pack.
