I love this texture pack and i use it for all my medieval builds but could a texture for the 'Better than Wolves' mod be created. If yes than i would be very thankful.

I love your clownfish but wasn't a fan of its black outlines so I recolored it and then aligned it to be on the same angle as the other fish
That looks much better, thank you.
EDIT: I took my original clownfish removed the black outlines, and then flipped it to look the other way. I think I did a pretty good job:
Added CTM for the coloured glass, I have not tested it as MCPatcher is not out for the latest version of Minecraft yet but the properties files make sense.
Maybe another week until the packs are combined (Snapshot and Legacy packs) for the John Smith Legacy site, this would make it easier for player as they would not need the two packs.
We will just have to wait until the 1.7 is listed on the official site.
I believe that he had abandoned it, and that's why im asking others who have more experience than myself with making textures to help. thank you though.

I'm probably wrong, forget what i said ill go do some more 'research' on this subject, thank you for helping and once again sorry for the misleading requests.
I really love this texture pack, and I have just one question. I don't like the way items look on the transparent background in the action bar, anyway to manually change background colors? Also, the dark green in chest grids kind of make darker item models hard to see, I would like to change that color too. Is this possible? And again, thanks for this fantastic looking pack.

The only way to change that would be to edit the image file and recolor it yourself.
For the action bar it is 'assets/minecraft/textures/gui/widgets.png' and for the chest grid it is 'assets/minecraft/textures/gui/container/generic_54.png'
Which download is the most faithful to the original John Smith? I'm sorry for asking, it's just all the downloads confuzzle me. I remember the technician's remix pack had a lot changes that I didn't particularly like. Great work continuing this though, I'm not complaining

It's on the main Legacy site, it's the one with Latest next to it (yes I know the text says John Smith Legacy v1.1 for MC 1.6), The text should say:- John Smith Legacy v1.2.0 for MC 1.7.2.
I don't do the web site coding so it's still saying an older release but the link is to the latest version and will always be to the latest version.
John Smith Technician's Remix (JSTR) is a variation of the original John Smith texture pack which is designed for use with modded Minecraft, such as FTB (Feed The Beast) modpacks, Tekkit and Tekkit Lite.
I LOVE this texture pack, and I'm SOO happy that you guys are carrying on the John Smith texture pack. I'm also thankful that you guys are trying to update it so quickly to the new minecraft version; however, do you have any way to fix my grey grass?

In MCPatcher, go to the Options tab. In the Custom Colors section, uncheck Other blocks. Re-patch it and you should be good to go. It worked for me anyways.

Here's a clownfish texture I made:
EDIT: Here's a larger image to make it easier to view:
EDIT: I realized one of its fins was pretty long, so I shortened it a little:

Curse PremiumSockthingGaming started on BTW support a while ago, I have no idea how far he got because I've never touched BTW myself

The colours are a bit too strong for my taste, heres my edit.

NOTE:- This Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.7 or greater, a link to older versions of the pack will hopefully be added to the Legacy site.
Backward compatibility is just not as easy as it used to be, so the older packs have to hang around.
