The Coloured Glass (Panes and Blocks) have been edited to include (Japanese Fusuma/shōji) style sliding panels and I think they look great.

CTM for these textures will come at a later date.

These two textures are 日本語襖/障子 (Japanese Fusuma/shōji) style sliding panels.

The glass_silver.png texture is based on one of the alternative John Smith Glow Stone textures, both glass_pane_top_white and glass_pane_top_silver have edges that match the panes.

The glass_silver.png is 10% transparent and glass_white.png is 5% transparent, this is so it lets light through for a great nighttime effect, plus the paper panels would let light through in real life but would not be see through.

Added some new European characters, some are still missing as I have no idea what the characters are.

All the glass textures are now a little more transparent.

JimStoneCraft, those look amazing! Oh my gosh, I'm at a loss for words, I cannot wait to start using them! I'll post so many screenshots of my pagoda village when the update gets released.

Awesome stuff man, keep it up. The panes in the last pic look really well done.

I made a set of the stained glass blocks that are just clear (well, colored) with a thin frame around the edge, looks pretty cool. The colors may be a bit bright for some people, but I wanted them to stand out like real stained glass.

I think the different birch and spruce log tops should be in the legacy, but I don't think the muted jungle logs should.

The logs look much better now, I'll add them to the next release (ironically they are in my pack below).

As for my own version of the pack, I've thought about it for a long time and thought someone might be interested so I've decided to put it up on my site, the site has not got full credits yet for some of the textures and will be expanded when I get a more time (FTB is taking most of my spare time at the moment).

First release of my personal pack.

This more or less follows the original Legacy pack but with some of my own edits and additions.

All the armour is edited to remove the gloves and has been recoloured to match the Iron and Gold ingots colours.

Some of the item images are from John Smith alternate sheets, Faithful 32 and Arkhangels textures.

All the items have had their black borders edited out as blocks don't have the cell shaded look so I though why have them on the items, they all have been Centrally Aligned (or one pixel to the top and left if odd numbered), this gives the most clearance for the quantity number in the game.

Has the drumsticks and shield icons made bigger, hearts are more like vanilla.

This has the original enchanting font as I didn't care for the JS version.

[Mojang] sound\random\levelup.ogg

From an older version of the game as the new sound is a little poor and sounds cut short, I've just got used to the dingaling sound on level up.

NOTE: CTM is a little out of date, has not been tested in the new snapshots and will be updated when MCPatcher or Minecraft catches up.

There's still a lot to do in the future.

This looks to be the last snapshot release and the pack will be combined with the Legacy Resource Pack.

The edge colour of the log end matches better with the colour of the log side.

Acacia middle made more red to match actual Acacia wood and spruce changed to
have a different centre for some block variety.

Yeah, swiss roll birch log is back.

Tweaked the Sunflower a little bit.


On a side note my JimStoneCraft Edition has also been updated, see link in signature.

I noticed that in the legacy pack two out of the four mushroom blocks are default, and one of them is quite bland, I was wondering if maybe they could be replaced with the alternates:

Maybe another week until the packs are combined (Snapshot and Legacy packs) for the John Smith Legacy site, this would make it easier for player as they would not need the two packs.
