With the 1.5 texpack, it seems like the Buildcraft engines might have gotten lost in the shuffle.
Oversight or just not done yet? It seems like the rest of the BC textures are complete.
Thanks for all your work!
edit
fixed! It looks like the "gfx" directory was not carried over into the 1.5.1 version. I copied it over from a previous JSTR pack and everything looks great.
I did a hardened clay texture as I noticed it was default...http://imgur.com/SyCUmql
*edit* It is in the pack so I am here instead to report a typo. It should be called clayHardened rather than clayhardened
thanks for letting us know, will fix it right away
My love is default, but this is the best medieval-rpg looking texture pack I found, amazing job.
I only had problems with the size of the fonts-gui, it was really too small, and killing my eyes, so I changed those with another pack's ones, and solved my problem
I had the same problem (my monitors a queer size anyways), i just deleted the 'font' folder and it reverted to default, which aint too bad imo.
Sounds good! I changed the gui too because I thought the font would have conflicted with the original, I'll try to do the same as you, sounds much easier
I just use the font from Faithful 32, nice and clean like the original, but higher resolution. The font that comes with the JS pack is nice, it's just too thin sometimes and can get hard to read.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
JS is my favorite texture pack of all time, but I have had this complaint since the JSTR pack: None of the modded ores match up with the stone, why is that?
And is there some kind of customizer for textures available? I hate the look of endstone and white/light gray wool and would like to change those without having to do it the hard way. (E.G. opening paint.net and switching textures or changing color values)

If you say "plz" because it's shorter than "Please," I'll say "No" because it's shorter than "Yes."

Make sure you're not patching JS legacy. Use the "Download pack" button in the patcher.

Isn't JSTR an older version of JS?
Edit: Well the wool and lapis blocks look nicer but is there a customizer for JSTR? I don't care for the bricks and I remember always changing them when I used it for older Minecraft versions.
By the way, why does JSTR have less animated blocks? The pumpkin and ice being one example? The ores no longer shimmer either.
Alright I tried moving them over myself and the pumpkins are still not animated like in JS Legacy. Is there something code-related that needs to be done for bonus terrain animations that I do not understand?
Also, in the process of doing something about those bricks, it wouldn't be too offensive if I posted my edit in here would it? I don't want to insult the original artist but if I wanted dull colored bricks I'd use stone ones instead of clay.

That's weird. They should be animated.
In your texture pack .zip, make sure that under \anim\, that files are there. For example, the pumpkin would be: custom_terrain_120.png. Also, make sure you're using optifine. Animated textures wont work without it.
Sadly, we don't have a customizer.
Go ahead and post your modified textures. We encourage it. In fact, RezDev compiled all of the alternate textures and put them in a series of png's, for you to pick and choose. http://forums.jslega...opic.php?id=200

Oh my god that is amazing, thanks.
They were in the anim folder, but I just ended up doctoring up JSL a bit to make ores match up as well as make the diamond block animated with smooth ore.
Initially, I wanted to help with Soartex Fanver to get better Thaumcraft support but after trying to emulate the pack's style for a few days I failed. Since JSTR supports Thaumcraft to a respectable degree I decided to try and add some textures for mods not included in Tekkit or FTB - specifically, Biomes O' Plenty and Pam's Harvestcraft. I ran into a problem though - the textures are 16x by default (because that makes sense, obviously) but how do I upscale them to properly fit 32x? Multiplying the sprite sheet size by2 didn't work, how do you guys do it?
Also, do people need permission from modders to implement texture pack support for their respective mods or can we just kind of do it?

We don't need permission, as we're not modifying anything that they made. We're creating new textures.
Usually, we create a 512x512 sprite sheet, then make a pattern of 32x32 boxes so we know the boundaries of each texture area. We then bring in the vanilla texture sheet, upscale it using the bilinear method, to 512x512 and work from there.
I love this texture pack because it fits my builds but i use the Better Than Wolves mod, john smiths don't have textures for this mod and i have not idea who i should mention it to, please help.

First of all, amazing texture pack! Thanks to everyone for continuing it.
Unfortunately, I am not able to download it because I can't acces the website.
I tried to reach it with chrome and explorer but neither will load the page. I don't know if this is common problem? Or if simply the website is just offline for now
I can reach it fine with PaleMoon, I'd imagine any browser based off Firefox could do the same if you want to try one of those.

Oh, that fixes it. That's annoying, it didn't seem to do that before. Oh well, thank you
A double resolution texture pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.
