People having problems with the texture pack and optifine in 1.5..wait until optifine is complete. It's bound to have a few wrinkles to iron out considering it's not even complete yet Many of your 1.5 issues sound like optifine problems.
Mcpatcher has this handy new tool in the top right corner that will convert your texturepack to 1.5. It does everything dinnerbones unstitcher does PLUS converts all your CTM to the new format.
Oh, I was wondering what that was for. Thanks a bunch!
this texture pack is awesome. the one problem with it is that it doesnt include metallurgy textures. i'd offer to help someone skin everything, but my artistic skills are about lvl 3.on a 100 level scale.
Metallurgy will be a pain to texture... so many ores and so many items
How can i download from google Docs? all i get is the "You've reached the bandwidth limit for viewing or downloading files that aren't in Google Docs format. Please try again later." message. i have never downloaded from google docs so this is wrong and i have waited three days on it and still nothing. is it possible to add a mediafire link too? i would appreciate that.

I don't get why you just didn't put the .rar or .zip file instead of having it in a google docs It took me a while to figure out how to download it.
With Google Docs you can update a single file rather than upload the whole zip each time, this makes it a little easier for the mods to keep the texture pack updated with all the changes (a bit like a zipped folder but online).
A zip or rar would be easier for the normal user, maybe a server script to make the zip on the server from a server directory would be a better option (save uploading a large file all the time), a normal zip for the user and a folder of all the files for the mods.
OK, I get that Google Docs makes it easier to upload one file at a time, but you guys REALLY need to explain how to use Google Docs to download all the files in that first post. I had never used Google Docs before, and I'm sure many other people haven't, either. It took me a couple minutes of fumbling around to figure out what was going on. I'm all for using more convenient technology, but you need to explain how to use it for it to be truly beneficial. The sad thing is that it's really simple once you know what to look for.
All you need is a simple sentence saying, "After clicking on the link, go to "File" and select "Download" at the bottom of the menu."
When you click the download link it takes you to a page where there's a big "download" button in the center of the screen. I'm not sure what's so hard about that.

Maybe for you, and I wish it was the same for me, but I get a page with a list of files and the standard File/Edit/View/Help menus, and that's it. No download button.
Edit: I just went back and it says I'm over the limit for viewing things, and yes, now it offers a download link in lieu of viewing it. Is that what you mean? Because you can't see that the first time you click on the link. You have to have already gone over your Google Docs viewing limit.
"You've reached the bandwidth limit for viewing or downloading files that aren't in Google Docs format. Please try again later. You can also try to download the original document by clicking here."
Click on the File menu at the top and choose "Email as an attachment" and mail it to yourself. It'll send the texture pack as an email attachment even when you can't directly download the file because of the bandwidth limit.
umm i cant download it when i download it. it says

I will probably alter the emerald or green sapphire later to differentiate them if the pack hasn't gotten something new by then.
