Sooo, I have a couple questions. First, I noticed that ocelots/cats are still vanilla. Are those ever going to be textured? Second, are there plans to add textures for all the new stuff being added, ie horses, horse armor, etc?
I so completely hope so. I've had to resort to borrowing reskins from other packs for all the mobs that weren't edited by John Smith and the community... and since I don't remember ~where~ they originated from (since I added them to my private pack back in 1.3.2), I can't even share them, because I can't give proper credit to the original author(s).
I also have problems with the half-slab tinting in different biomes.
To be honest, I kind of feel like the creation of the dedicated JS:L forum has divided the contributors, because output and suggestions have really dropped off as of late.
I hate to agree with you... but it's true. The contributors have basically either abandoned the Minecraft forum, in favor of the JS:L one, or just stopped posting at all. Which is a shame, since it's the contributions of every one of us who use the pack, that keeps it alive, and going.
Look I love your texture pack and im not good with textures but you are. So what im asking is can you, no will you make a texture thats anime like. i mean like one and a while a pink tree with a anime skin and you know so on and so forth. you may get request a lot but i really want a texture pack like that so i thought what better place then to go here and ask a master artist to make it and in HD no dough. So please make me one i looked high and low for one but no luck. if you can't or dont want to thats totally fine with me. But at lest reply to me so i know you heard me. Keep up the good work! And everyone do what you love <3!

Same here. I'm actually considering taking a weekend to make a JohnSmith "remix" of Misa's texture pack. I used Misa's for the longest time, but switched to JS for the more medieval look to things. But if there isn't going to be any more support, I'll be pretty sad. :\

Yes all of the above will be added.........eventually, new textures require a lot more work than a simple edit or recolouring, I'm doing the best I can.
I've been posting my textures on the JSL forum, this makes it a little easier for the pack to be updated quicker and I can make a thread about just a certain subject rather than it getting lost here.
Here's my updates that eventually get added to the pack.

I don't see a specific location to go to for bugs but.. So far I'v noticed when logging in on occasion before moving certain blocks take on 'stone' skin rather than what they are supposed to.. I'v only noticed this with the crafting table right now, I believe there might be more affected but as of yet thats unknown which items. Anywho figured I'd let you know.
Of course.. it could be something to do with my own minecraft and just network issues with updating blocks. I wouldn't really know how to troubleshoot that so Still awesome texture pack ^^
As far as I can tell it doesn't do it with other texture packs..
Here is an example Left is after moving 1 block, right is when I first logged in.. obviously.

JS: Legacy is community updated texture pack, which only came in existence due to the author of JohnSmith retiring for unsure amount of time, so... don't expect any reply from original author.
I just seen the time of post I reply-ed to... sorry everyone

it wasn't that long ago, so no need to be sorry. Its great when people answer other people's questions.
Hi, I just wanted to point your attention to an issue with this whole texture pack (both Legacy and JSTR) that has existed forever, practically since John Smith released it:
The integrated HD font (which is incredibly beautiful, btw) supports the German and Scandinavian alphabets with their special characters very well, but all of the Romanic languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, Portuguese, Catalan etc) are unsupported. Special characters and accented vowels are simply left out. You can easily see what the problem is if you pretend to change the language and scroll down the list to letters "E" and "F" where you are given the choice of "Fran ais" and "Espa ol (M xico)".
For Italian, this is merely an annoyance, but the French and Spanish versions are almost unplayable.
Would be great if you could find a font specialist capable of adding that support.
The font was created by someone else who allowed it to be included in the pack, I don't recall their name, but it was posted in the original JS thread. Look it up and see if they have a newer version with more characters.

Oh goodie goodie goodie! Thanks for the update, I apologize if I sounded pushy, I'm just moreso very curious.

I was wondering if anyone was willing to create a "Minecart with TNT" texture for the version of TNT that I use for me?
Here is a link to the TNT texture I use, I found them in the original JS texture pack thread. - http://imgur.com/a/zwFTL

Sidenote: @xXTerra_BranfordX Nice to see a PSO2 Avatar.
I agree, I also use this texture for TNT, and it would be nice to have the option.
I've made some alternates for all the carts.
