Urban Sprawl texture pack is designed for modern, urban, decayed environments, but also good for a wide variety of interior styles.
This video is not very good... I know... I am working on a laptop, so the video quality is poopy... if you can help me come up with a better video showing some of the features of Urban Sprawl I would love to feature it here!
The main idea is that all of the textures will be things you find in a modern decaying city environment, so instead of ore blocks there will be appropriate decorative architecture blocks... etc...
it is Optifine/HD Modloader compatible, with lots of unique features and more planned, if you are using either of those mods! There will be some animation, many connected textures and some random texture blocks, and a lot of art for urban environment signs.
In order to make full use of the paintings pack, I recommend this mod:
Im very pleased with the windows so far... and the explosion animation makes me want to run around setting off tnt because its soo much fun to watch going off...
Its mostly finished, but a couple of the MOBS are still in default form, as placeholders... I will be completing this pack to 100%, so if you have any questions, comments, or ideas... let me know in the comments area here.
If you like this pack, use it for something epic, or want to feature it in a video... that would be awesome... I'm mostly making this for fun and to hopefully make some friends and meet collaborators who want to make some amazing and enjoyable content for Minecraft... please let me know and post a link so I can share it with others!
If you like this pack and want to keep it updated, let me know with a diamond or a subscription... as long as there seems to be interest, I will keep making improvements. ^___^
If you post mod requests i the comments, I will probably start adding them to this pack as I find the time to.
This my good man has got to be the most epic texture pack know to man.You sir are a Genius. Now i just have to wait for the paintings mod to update.Oh and this is for you
Ok so I'm just looking over the pack now and have a few suggestions for changes if you are open for ideas.First change the bookshelf to like a filing cabinet, safe,or a gun cabinet or something of the like instead of the same old boring bookshelf. Then maybe change the dye icons into Beer bottles with colored lables to match the color of dye or maybe colored syringes. And how about changing the redstone wire into abundle of frayed cable or wire And maybe just give everything just a dirtier grittier feel with some slight wear and tear the way you made the cactus look like a rusty old drum.Right now everything looks brand spanking new and clean. These are just some ideas and tweaks not criticisms I love the pack as it.Thank you....

There is a filing cabinet as one of the random textures that comes up when you find/place gravel... although I may make a nicer/different sort of filing cabinet out of something else too eventually... good suggestions, I like the idea of using redstone as a dirt overlay, although I still think I prefer keeping it as road striping since it makes a more real looking city landscape without having to use a mod.
Also, amazing texture pack. One of the best I have seen.
Thank you...
I am working on an adventure map that is going to be the "welcome zone" of a server I am going to run (once the map is ready of course)... until then, you might like these modular city utility structures I am designing as part of the map:
Did a quick tour of my creative build with the texture pack. Of course, the build isn't made with this pack in mind, so it ends up looking weird. Though, I must say that this is a fantastic texture pack. I love what you're doing with all of the connected textures. Definitely plan on starting up a side project with this pack.

(Urban Sprawl is compatible with the "tiny pics edition", and yes I will be trying to fully fill it all)
I highly recommend Optifine as your HD texture pack solution, as its what I use, and I found that it nearly doubled my framerate in Minecraft.

Thanks!
The best way I could think to do that would be use CTM so that when two dispensers are stacked on each other, they turn into a fridge.
I actually HAVE to do that now... great suggestion!
okay, I updated the pack with a fridge block... just put a dispenser on top of another one, and voila! Fridgetastic goodness!
thanks!
