A pack that will change only your GUI to look like the good old Diablo 2.
You can use it with the default terrain textures or along with your favourite resource pack for full HD'ness.
Latest version for minecraft 1.8.x:
To use it as GUI with your favourite TP place it at the top in the resource pack menu.

Dunno if anyone still uses this but..yet antoher update!
New version, now with 1.6 support, added rogue encampment menu background and some tweaks here and there.
I was looking for some crap to make a good gui that looks like diablo 2 and found this. It's up to my standards!!! I may change some details though but overall seems amazing.
I'm building d2 in minecraft, have been for a while and today I was making a resource pack with some of the d2 sounds I extracted from the MPQ's.
Anyway, If you want we can combine packs, mine has the sounds and yours has the visuals.
and if you want to come and take a look the server IP is mc.lazserver.com
Also, there's 1800+ sounds in d2 so it took a while to sort them all out to find the ones I could use in minecraft. Anyway, let me know what you think and I'll send you my pack.
Wow man. I downloaded your work and I have to say the quality is even higher than what I anticipated.
bravo!
Looking forward to what you have to say about the project and other stuff. Hopefully we can both log on to talk a little.
Just noticed a small detail you could look at.
the survival inventory has some text above the four crafting squares. In all of your other containers you put a nice little box around texts, this one doesn't.

Thats intended, when I first did it I didnt remember about the text but later when I noticed I thought it would ruin the drawing if I put a box there, tried removing the text in the language files but it removes the text from the crafting bench too, and if someone uses a custom lang file it would not work, so I decided to leave it like that (lazy me)
Didn't check fully the new changes in 1.9, maybe I have to rework the whole inventory screen and can sort that out...
Also the creative inventory still has the crafting grid they put in a snapshot when I made the pack and then removed for 1.4, but I like it too much to remove it.
As for the pack, you can use it for your pack as long as you credit me and link to this post.
Are you planning to make a full texture pack too?
I will have a look at you server when I have time for sure. It reminds me of the encampment I did with a friend a long time ago.
