I would say 1.2.5 until tekkit officially updates. Or wait until tekkit updates and then do it. I can't see thermal expansion not being included in the next tekkit version. It is just to epic to not be.

No, I have my own private tekkit server with Thermal Expansion installed. I actually don't like technic because it just has to much crap. Even in tekkit I have a bunch of stuff disabled.
You don't have to worry about it though if trying to run a tekkit server is prohibitive for you adding TE to your pack. The default textures are pretty good for TE. I would wait and see if it gets included in the next version of tekkit. I am pretty sure it will since there are a bunch of request for it.
It looks like all the Tekkit mods are updating for 1.4.5 now and Buildcraft 3 is finally released so it won't be much longer. You will have a ton of new stuff to texture it looks like. lol
Of course, as usual, it looks like Industrial craft and Red Power will be what everyone is waiting on
I noticed that 2 items are not being rendered correctly: Locked Chest and Wireless Remote . Both just show the place holder image. Not sure if it is something that changed from tekkit 3.1.2 to version 3.1.3. If so then I guess I will have to try and update and hope nothing breaks lol

Locked chest is me cheating and using a 1.4.5 terrain.png for 1.2.5. Locked chests disappeared when emeralds were added.
Wireless remote I thought I had fixed. hmmm. I will investigate.

Yeah, but I love the idea of mystcraft. I have already done it because it is small. I will be able to go out with the new release because I have quietly been working on the textures during the wait (FTB helped, also coming soon).

If I started a new server it would be tekkit lite. More so for the updated stuff though I would most likely trim out a few mods and certain overpowered items. I am sure there will be many who will stick to tekkit classic for the bukkit support.

I just launched a tekkit lite test server on my lan to see how it works. Not sure how complete your texture pack is but so far everything looks great.

I have a small question are the crops already 32 or are they just the default? Cause this i my biggest wish current that they could look a little better or more difference between normal crops and weed

The textures are still default for IC2 crops. I had not used them in game when I started the TP and forgot to go back to them. They will be in the next update. Thank you for reminding me they are not done. I will look into your suggestion and try to use it if I can.

Should have asked this previously, brain off I guess. If you know, will there be another dev version of Classic succeeding 3.1.3? I planned to have two Tekkit Classic Texture Packs, the recommended and the development. When (if) there is a 3.1.4, I will move the dev to that.

we have notived 2 things during our Lets Play
1. Glowstone should be more yellow in our yes
2. Full grown potatoe crops doent like it :/ maybe u could add some potatoes getting out of earth or add in last state flowers on top

2. I absolutely agree. I don't like them either. I cannot draw the potatoes sticking above the ground as in the default. I grew up on a farm and if real potatoes did that they would all be poisonous. Your picture is perfect, I will base the new texture off of it.

I just recollored yours In this way i would it prefer more i couldn't test it on glowstone oO, but on the glowstone facade.
Where is the glowstone saved oO I thought in terrain.png but it didnt worked replacing it there :/
Glowstone is CTM randomed. The texture in terrain.png is used only for display in your hand and in the inventory. Once placed the textures from the ctm directory are used. I am going to be a pain and ask why do you think glowstone should be more yellow?

Why: White is a cold color. We (humans) don't like that Other thing is that Glowstone cant be white caused by its unregular edges so it would be collored in many different colors. e.g Prism.
The current glowstone based on incandescent quartz, thus the whitish colour with hints of coloured impurities, light yellows and pale browns. More yellow would mean more impurities, more iron and sulfur in the quartz. OK, yes I am strange, I imagine my texture pack as if it were a real world. Given the glowstone crystals grow in a volcanic (nether) environment the amount of sulfur would be higher and thus I can see more yellow, And the example you gave is perfect. I will make the change.
