This has actually been done for 2 days or so but I was going to hold off and wait for something more substantial... betterskies was something I had tried to do but couldn't. I don't think I can reskin the horses at the moment.
So here's revision C, and the only correction is fixed CTM(tested with MCPatcher). So if you use Optifine or MCPatcher and want to enjoy CTM make sure you download this version.
I went ahead and downloaded this pack and extracted it, and dropped it into my TP folder, but for some odd reason, it's not showing up in the in-game TP menu. I've already run MC Patcher, so I'm not sure what's going on (I'm having the same issue with the Feathersong TP).

You do not need to extract it, just download the zip and place it directly into the texturepacks folder.
"As an essential step towards the Minecraft modding API, and also for sanity's sake in our own code, we're removing Texture Packs and replacing them with a new Resource Pack system. Unfortunately, this means that all current texture packs will break..."
'cause you know, f*** us
Depending on how complex this new system gets and the amount of assistance texture pack makers I don't know if I feel like redoing the foundations of the pack AGAIN.
Minecraft isn't alpha/beta anymore guys, you can't keep doing this
To be fair, he also said that this will be the last time they're gonna break Texture packs (well, Resource Packs, soon enough >_>)
He hinted at it, and I anticipated... but that still doesn't make it fun. Minecraft isn't in Alpha/Beta anymore, as much as I love the game such large fundamental changes like this should have been done before it was published as final. But this is just me ranting about the way they rushed out the final game for a hiked up price tag.
I'm probably just bitter about the fact I just fixed the pack and it's about to be broken again.

No, I don't think you're just being bitter. It's very true. I can't believe they came out of beta when the game clearly wasn't finished yet. What they are doing to Minecraft aren't just "add-ons"... They keep redoing core things. The new launcher, the resource packs, etc. It's ridiculous. If my name was well-known in the Minecraft community, I would call for a petition to brand it as beta again. This is just wrong.
I managed to get the pack loaded and running. Looks pretty good, though there's no texture for a furnace when it's smelting/cooking stuff. Instead, I get this white layer with text on it that says "Texture missing, Texture missing.". Also, the Nether Portal is blue. The Obsidian frame is fine, but the portal is blue instead of purple. And the display in the clock is pink (not sure if that's how it's supposed to look). Other than those little issues, the pack looks great. Good work.

I am also having this issue (for the front of furnace). This seems to be happening because the furnace_front_lit is 7 blocks high and doesn't match the rest. After extracting the files and cropping furnace_front_lit (I used the program GIMP to do this) to match the size of the other blocks, the texture now works just fine. If you can save the file after cropping and zip it all back up, you should be fine!
The clock will take some time to fix as the dial no longer functions as it did previously. Instead of just the dial spinning the from a fixed image in the misc folder, a new image must be created in the items folder. The only pack I currently have that has a working clock is Wolfhound. Their clock image is 64x4096 in size and is just the clock image stacked on top of itself 64 times. Each image of the clock is slightly rotated clockwise. If you have the patience, you can do this yourself. Another option is to simple delete the clock image and repatch the texture pack (I am not sure whether or not repatching is necessary, but when in doubt I repatch). This should give you the default clock until the author can create the image for you.
As for the blue portal, I don't know what to tell you. After looking through the current version and some of the previous versions of the texture pack, it appears that this has been done purposely? A work in progress? I missed something? Who knows! Sorry I couldn't offer you any assistance.
Another thing I found missing was the needle for the compass. It appears that the image must be created in a similar fashion as the clock.
I'm working on fixing up all the issues right now. Before 1.5 came around I made an animated front furnace... and for some reason it weaseled its way into the conversion and overwrote the default furnace.png.
Portal was just an after-effect of the conversion methods, and working on getting a custom compass and clock done as well. Should all be fixed within the hour.
Thank you for this texture pack, it is beautiful and I envy your talent. Keep up the fantastic work!

Thanks for the suggestions about fixing the furnace and clock. I'm really not sure how to do those without screwing up the pack. If Dusty's working on fixing them, then I can wait. It's not a big deal any way, just a minor inconvenience.

Hello dustyshouri. I have a lot of texture packs and used what I learned from recent animations to fix the animated furnace texture.
It's a text file named "furnace_front_lit.txt" Inside is,
"0*1
1*1
2*1
3*1
4*1
5*1
6*1"
I hope I helped
(P.S. Are you going to be adding a texture for Fire, Villagers, and Iron Golems?)
Hi, Dusty. I'm running Rei's Minimap, OptiFine and this texture pack. I come across an error when entering the shop on a server I play on. The shop contains lots of frames with items in it and lots of signs on walls. It appears itemframes generate an error, and it only seems to happen with THIS texture pack.
Umm, it's two months later and that never got fixed. Are you dead? 1.6 is out now, what's going on?
Java didn't want to cooperate and I kind of failed at generating the necessary images for the Compass. I don't think there was much else than that I needed for the next release so I didn't feel the pressure to really upload it.
My schedule is kind of full though so I can't get much new stuff done like horses and all. I guess 1.6 and resource packs are out but last I heard the converter was broken converting a few things so I haven't had the time to fully look into dealing with whatever oddities I will need to fix up.

Curse PremiumJust need to fix up the compass when I have the chance and the pack will be fixed just in time for it to break with the resource packs!
