I don't think that I am the only one that misses the old food textures that were changed when the new food (potatoes, carrots and pumpkin pie) was added in the 1.4 snapshots. I wanted to share with you an items.png that has got the original food textures and outlined potatoes, carrots and pumpkin pie.
My good friend Senorpigman has been working on them and he wanted me to share them with you!

To get the new textures into your original minecraft texture pack locate your minecraft.jar (tutorial in spoiler below) and open it using a program like winrar or 7zip. Go into the 'gui' folder and drag the newly downloaded items.png into it.
Not meant to be rude I like your textures and all, but in my opinnion if I wanted the old textures I could just copy paste them from a previous update.

I think your title is off. First, you need the resolution (for example, this pack is 16x16). Another thing is, you should get rid of the word 'original'. It's quite confusing, also it's not technically 100% original, because this was recreated from Mojang's art. Keyword might be 'Old Food Textures' or 'Alpha Food Textures', stuff like that (though I'm not sure if this was from alpha).
