Like the brick. It's a reddish-brown blocks with a few gray stripes. Judging from the screenshot, the torch texture looks broken. Oak and jungle logs look too similar. I can't tell which is which. Wood planks look very similar to the wool, just different colors. I'm not sure if this makes the wood look soft, or makes the wool look hard.
A few textures look like they are resized defaults. Such as the sponge, cobble, and mossy cobble. I think the cobbles have too many cracks on them. The sponge has no use other than to be a building block in creative, so I suggest to make it not look so ugly. It reminds me of moldy cheese right now.
Not exactly needed, but usually texturepacks make the ores different textures, and not recolors, like default. Just to put in a little more variety.
You're right, i hate the bricks, but I can't make better ones... The torches are broken, however a fix has already been made to come out with V10. The cobble, i like, but I guess I could tone it down a bit (no pun intended :P) and tiling is a problem, especially in the stone. The Sponge is just a re-size, because I didn't think many people use it. I will fix it. The Ores, however are hard in a pack with so little pixels. I may try to embed them more.
You don't need to try to cram in so many bricks for the brick tile. Just use two rows of brick and that'll be good enough. For my 8x8 pack, I just made ores solid metal cubes. This allows for easier detection (and better decoration), but I also have camo-creeper skins to help compensate for this.

i don't mean the texture being smaller , i mean the models for the blocks themselves are smaller , though that's only possible with mods
They are not smaller, it's just an illusion with the larger pixels. High res packs tend to make blocks appear a bit bigger. The blocks appear smaller because you're probably used to 16x16 resolution, so when looking at a block, the size of the pixels appear to be the size of being closer with a 16x16 pack.

Woah, could you please put your field-of-view down in the screenshots? I find it disorientating.
Also, you should probably texture the quartz, as it's featured in one of your screenshots.

Sorry, I play on Quake Pro
And yeah, I just now realize I forgot to texture one whole side of the quartz.

It helps my friend FPS alot, mine is usually around 60 already, so I don't really notice a difference- either way, hope you enjoy it!

Curse PremiumThey're meant to, since in a 8x8 texture pack, the blocks are 8x8, as the Default pack blocks are 16x16.
