This pack is my humble creation for Steelfeather's Simple Pack Showdown. It is not a typical, bucket fill simple pack. It is a creation that has taken me hours of painstaking work, dozens of retries on textures, and many minutes of messing around with the connected textures mod. It is far from finished; the 1.3 terrain is done, but I still have many items, guis, and mobs left to complete. I also have some nice images for this thread to create, but I'll get to that once I'm (somewhat) finished with the actual pack.
I chose 'Chiaro' as the name of the pack because it is a word that means many things in Italian. Two of these meanings are 'simple' and 'bright', two words that utterly capture the essence of this texture pack.
Palette
My palette of choice was created by the wonderful 'imnumberfour'.
Very nice texture pack! I love the desaturated-but-bright look. The random grass textures are also great. You, sir (or ma'am :P), have gotten yourself a download.
1. Fine, when you have the art completed, terrain completed, 1 mob completed, and 10 items completed we can begin.
2. No I'm not, I can't even get CTM to work in like 3 hours. How am I in anyway better?
EDIT: And most importantly, your pack is good. Mine? Meh.
Terrain is done, I need to do art, same with the 1 mob, and I have... wow. Exactly 10 items completed besides the tools. xD And I had to get other people to do my ctm for me. =p
