This is because I'm still working on the 1.3.2 version, so a lot of converting will be going on. I hope that we can release it by March, because it's a lot of converting. Hope you understand!
I will thank you for using more than a single colour for every texture, but two isn't much better. It currently looks like the default with the shading and noise torn out, add some unique shading and noise, give it depth and it's own feel.

Guys, it's designed to be a SIMPLE texture pack, so texturing isn't necessarily what is being aimed for.
Yes i get that its a SIMPLE PACK. But i've seen plenty of simple packs that stand out well on its own without having to take the original and erase all the shading. for instance, Red Roses & Spring Breeze are both very simple packs but have its own theme and colors.

All of your suggestions will be added in the 0.2 update. I am currently working on using different colors, etc. Current Changelog for 0.2.0:

Just because you want to make it a simple pack, doesn't mean you need to have no shading or texturing, just look at packs like Dandelion, Bluebird, Xaiwaker, etc..
They all have shading and original colors, and that is why they are good.
