This project originally began with an incompatibility between millenaire and optifine. I decided to search for good 16x16 texture packs with an rpg feel but none covered all grounds of blocks weapons and those godawful squidward testificates. Okay I know some people like em, but they aren't my taste. Anyway, I got so frustrated I finally decided to whip out that year of game design school and put it to good use. I'm a little rusty, but for a 16x16 texture map I felt going for the 90s snes feel was right. Thus one thing lead to the next and I went from just redoing the squidwards to almost every other texture in the game. Even the ones I initially left alone I still went back and did numerous overlays to increase depth. In the end millenaire turned out not to be LAN accessible for more than one person so I went ahead and just got optifine, giving me the opportunity to add original water and lava modifications as well. So please enjoy to your hearts content and let me know if any of you use this for your servers. Happy hunting.

A lot of this seems to be blurry or extremely noisy.


EDIT: It's still nice though, don't get me wrong. I was just pointing that out.

Not a bad start for a texture pack career but tools look really messed up and blocks are too noisy.

I like it. Interesting approach to the iron golem.

Though the stone seems very dark, even for an RPG theme.
