The skulls were inspired from a friend who sent me a very similar idea. Since I have not really done 16x texturing before, it is challenging to get things right on the first try.

It doesn't surprise me about the paintings. I just left the ones in that were included. I'll have to go in later and make some placeholders. Since I work early I'll fix the link in the morning. Thanks for letting me know.

Yeah the post on Planetminecraft made the front page of the Popular Texture Packs and it just went off...I have total between here and there almost 9000 views. I had 5000k just today

Was wondering if someone was going to do this. I e-mailed Frenden for permission a while back but he never got back to me.
The sandstone you have doesn't match his style at all really. Try to stick to pixel art, and the same colors he uses, you might also look for his other WIP pack for more reference. I think it was called Frenden's Detailed Pack.
Here's the sandstone types that I have for my personal continuation of his pack:
Levaunt try emailing Frenden again. I emailed him two days ago to ask for permission to remix his pack and he responded in a day with a yes. I'd like to see what you've been doing with it as well.
Edit: Also the skulls are nice as armor, but the half armor is backwords. It was the same in Frenden's original pack.

I took the screenshot before I fixed it. But I wanted to at least post what it looked like. The bananas as food seemed right because his pack has a pirate like feel to it.
Also there are a few error in the current version of the updated pack. The item files are too far the right and clip into each other and the creative gui is the wrong one.
Great work! I'm glad to see someone working on Frenden's pack again, it was one of my favorite packs and the inspiration that got me into texturing!
Thanks at the moment I am trying to get all of the gui stuff situated and at the moment it seems that something might be off like one square. Going to try to fix it soon.
I updated the armor meter (fixed a slight bug). I also fixed all of the GUI problems (as far as I can tell) I need to remake the default placeholder for the tabs in creative mode but other than that, I think I have it all sorted out. Enjoy and comment/suggestions

I didn't see your request. I love your work and am totally happy with any additions or alterations you may want to make. The pack is on Github. Literally anyone has permission to use it as a base so long as it is credited properly. No biggie.

I thank you so much for giving me a shot (even if it was free for anyone) I currently have done it justice and I am working hard to keep it as you would have wanted I may even try some things later with your "ninja textures" that you had left Thank you again.
Due to the many hours of work, classes, and track practice here at college. I will try to update this three once or twice a week. Thanks for all your support
