There are so many packs like this it makes me want to scream, however your's is the best Iv'e seen.
Well that can be said for nearly every texturepack, because whenever someone makes something unique it inspires hundreds of other artists to follow their style. I will say though that summerfields is the only famous texture pack I know of that people haven't copied, yet atleast.
It looks ok, but almost as if you just blew the default up and drew lines over it. I really don't like default edits because it's easy to do (I'm not saying it's not time-consuming) and doesn't really change the feel of game play, but packs like R3DCRAFT do.

Well its not just "blew the default up and drew lines over it", if you look closely, every shape outlined on any of the given textures has a different color than its surroundings and that was not easy to accomplish in blocks a few blocks that didn't contain much shading, and even after that, I have to add effects and textures to get the final result. And yes R3DCRAFT is an outstanding texturepack and I hope to one day accomplish the perfection of that texturepack but this being my first try in pixels art, I think it is absurd to compare that texturepack to mine. Anyway I finished the emerald ore and block:

Ok, before I begin my reply, I want to know what kind of texture pack this is. Is this a pack that is a. just good to look at real closely, or is this pack b. meant to be worn for a very long time as a replacement for the default? In all due respect, it is a good-looking pack, so if it is option A you chose, you can disregard the following:
Well, to be honest, it looked as though you did blow up the default and draw lines (that is a fact, is it not?), but it takes more effort to create textures, not just edit pre-existing ones, doesn't matter how many filters you put it through. However, I'm not just hunting default edits and trying to tear down their creations (or edits, I should say), I'm looking for texture packs that are created from the bottom up with the artist's own style. Even Faithful 32x was worked from the ground up, and that shows in the pack's overall feel. I respect your claim in how you think it's absurd (but I don't respect how you use the First Texture excuse), so, would you mind giving me a pack that isn't absurd to compare with yours?

Well, isnt redcraft a default edit, all the creator did was put textures on and bevel the whole thing. To get the real effect of redcraft you have go up close, from far its hard to even spot a difference. Atleast my texture changes a few colors. Even though redcraft had a lot of work put into it, anyone could accomplish the additional textures and bevels. So in the end Redcraft is a default edit aswell.
I gotta say, this pack is amazing. I just finished reading through the comments, you people really need to try some constructive criticism once in a while and not just sticking your nose in the air and thinking this pack will suck just because it looks kind of like another.
As far as im concerned, this pack is looking like an awesome success. I really hope it gets a lot of attention from Deathmania because im excited to see how it will turn out! Im lookin forward to the next update Death
