This pack was made with the intention of creating an original, realistic feel while showing the block's "true form" as a cube, rather than on oddly shaped landscape.
This pack is HD and uses several forms of CTM, and so requires MCPatcher or Optifine
Why Cubix Pack?
This pack came out better as I worked on it longer, and when I decided it was going to be worthy of a public release, I knew it would need a good name. I like the term cube, and it suited the pack's design and feel, so after an hour of trial and error with the word cube, I found a good name that rolls off the tongue and is simple while relating to the theme of the pack.

Via planet minecraft.
Thanks to D3fin3d for inspiration for the rain, some blocks and other scattered textures. He has an amazing pack, you should check it out!
Help support the pack with a banner to put in your signiture. The more support the better!
You're going to need bigger and less blury pictures, it's a little hard to see, but I think it's really great.
Thank you both! Also, I'm working on smaller main pictures to shrink the length of the post, but I'll put some more high quality ones in the spoiler.
50 Downloads already, my second milestone! I got some more tools and items done, I'll be releasing them soon, I want at least 10 new textures before updating.
Remember to post what you like and dislike about it. Need constructive critisism to improve!
I've finally got around to downloading it and have one critisism. The sand, me personally,I think it's best for it to be clay because it has those gray circles on it. It's only an idea.

Thank you both! As for your sand idea creeperfighter, I have random textures applied for the sand (in case you haven't seen the sand ingame), some with rocks and some without, I could work on adjusting the sand texture to fill in for gravel, but what do you think should be done with sand?

This looks very nice....I really like how everything looks rendered, and how it looks quite simple, but actually has a whole lotta detail. Reminds me a little of R3D craft..... and cubic interpol.
And yes, the first set of pictures are a bit hard too make out, they look like "PMC Photos" - desaturated and low-res.
Also, the little iron pieces in the sand look a bit out of place.... and the spawner would look kinda weird with those bars...
That would most likely be your internet connection. If you internet connection is fine, the site may be down for a bit. I didn't do anything that would cause it to not connect to the site.

Thank you. In my personal oppinion, the sand may look bad in the terrain.png, but I have random textures compatibility, and have 6 sand textures with and without rocks, I think it looks nice with rocks scattered through some of the sand. But I think I'll make an alternate without any rocks.
As for the mob spawner, that wasn't actually from this pack, I made it, but I discontinued one of my packs and it never got released, I made this pack on it's 64x64 terrain, and I thought I'd keep the spawner. But I guess it doesn't quite fit, so I think I'll work on a new one.
First, before I forget, I'm taking a few more screenshots and putting them on full size in the "more screenshots" spoiler if anyone wants a closer look before downloading.
Ok, for the requests I've already gotton, I've added a bunch more full sized screenshots in the "more screenshots" spoiler. You can see the sand with random textures in the first new screenshot!
On a side note, I've gotton the doors and some items finished, so I'll update the .zip file soon.
Edit: It appears planet minecraft is down for now... I'll work on a mirror download for when this happens.
Yeah i cant download it either
Both the download link for this texture pack and the site planet Minecraft is not opening for me. Even if i go to the cached version of the site, when i click download it wont load the page required to download it.
Also my internet is fine, so it couldn't be that either. I'll have to wait for a bit to download.
Do you think you could have a mirror download site or somehting?
Edit: Opps. Just read your above comment. Sorry about posting this. This pack looks awesome, can't wait

It's fine. Also, I'm going to work on a mirror, but for now I think it's back up.
Hmm... The name and logo look familiar... I wonder why...

Oh! Sorry, haven't seen that.
In my defense, the text and cube logo are a different style and texture, more of a realistic stone texture, and the name isn't the exact same. I could work on a new name and logo if necessary, but I would need to change the logo, signiture, thread, download file and planet minecraft entry, so I would prefer not to do it unless I need to.

the only thing i have to complain about but this might just be my opinion but.... I dislike packs that do not tile but thats what happens when you use bevel and emboss if that is in fact what u did

That would happen should I have done it that way, but that isn't in fact what I did. I lighten and darken the sides corners of every texture by hand one pixel at a time, it looks better that way. The people that say most texture packs now could be made with a filter don't know how bad it actually would look with a simple filter
And, the shading on the edge is intentional, it's the theme of the pack, so if you're not a fan of non-tiling packs, than I'm not exactly your kind of texture creator... I'm terrible at making seamless textures.

Oh, I just placed a sand block in minecraft without checking the random texture. Can I ask how you do random textures? I wanted to do that in my pack.
