Sorry to bust your bubble, but his full pack is here.
Oh, that's okay. At least mine is done (terrain at least) Don't worry, I plan on adding both the items and GUI for sure, maybe mobs too but I'm not sure how the 8x resolution will work out with them.

Oh, that's okay, at least my terrain is done too! I've made an early version of the items.png (barely finished, really) that I'd like some comments on. The armor and the tools are done, as well as the fishing rod, bow... well, see for yourself!
Things I don't like: the bow, it's too zig-zaggy, but I don't know how else to make it. Any other suggestions are very welcome!

Hmm... I think the bow lokos fine, I really like the armor, too. The thing that bugs me is that some of the tools (iron, gold and diamond spade, pickaxe, axe, and hoe) look way too big, too "overextended", I think you should make them like the wooden/stone tools. Also, the flint and steel looks more like "feather and steel", and the axes kinda look like flags....

Ok then, in that case I will keep the bow and the armor just as it is. I know the tools look a bit odd, it is because the iron, gold, and diamond tools actually ARE extended a bit so that it is possible to tell stone apart from iron tools. Is there another, better way that you would suggest? Should I add rust or something (I.E. the iron block)? If you have a suggestion for that please tell it, I was having trouble with that The reason the flint and still looks like that, can be seen in the gravel texture (which has white-ish rocks like the flint). I've actually already made the feather itself, it looks rather different.
Finally, the axes. Oh, those axes. Yeah, I don't like them much myself, but I don't have a better idea for what to do with them, especially as 8x8 is a little cramped for item textures. Again, if you have a suggestion, I will gladly implement it. Thanks so much! More comments please from everybody!

Well, i think if you made the iron tools a bit lighter gray, it would be easier to tell them apart. For the spades. I think you should keep the iron/gold/diamond type just because the wooden/stone ones look like a staff of sorts, but rub a few pixels off the "material" end of it, so it's not too long.
For the pickaxes, if you differentiate a little more in color between the stone/iron axe, and keep the stone/wooden type, I think that'll be fine. Same for the axes, change the iron/stone colora a bit, and keep the wooden/stone style, the rest kinda look like fish on a pole. Try creating some distance between the stick and the material, so it looks like an actual "head" to the axe.
If anything, I would suggest to curve the hoes a bit.....
Also, the arrow sprite is pretty fat, looks more like a spear. I suggest you thin down the end.

I will use those suggestions, thanks And yeah, I know the arrows look like that, but if I make it any thinner, it will be only one pixel thin, which looks weird (imo). But I agree it looks fat; all of the sprites do! Once again, thanks a bunch for these responses, it really does help. To anyone else viewing this: PLEASE COMMENT TOO!!

No problem
For the arrow, I meant thinning down the "end" of it, the stone part.

Oh, that makes more sense In any case, I've edited the tools as you suggested and I added a few more items that are not present on that old version I uploaded. So, I present MORE THINGS!!!

Nice, the shovels and hoes look much better (Although it think the stone spade is a bit messed up...). The picks are still a bit big, cutting down ~1 more pixel would fix that, though.
Also, what is that black "X"? The repeater looks kinda sketchy, IMO.

The black X is the quiver (unused) and yes, I know that about the repeater, but I didn't know what else to do -_-. I don't think the picks would be good if they were any smaller, but I will test it
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO MY ORIGINAL POST??? What's wrong with the html now?? I just wanted to edit it.
Happens sometimes...html forum bugs and stuff like that....try copy pasting from the OP (not the html code, but the text itself), should fix it....
Also, for the pick, I meant make the curved end a bit shorter....

You don't understand... the OP's text randomly changed to that!! Is there a problem in the html i need to fix? If so, please explain!!! I don't want this post to be buried just because of some error!

Yea, I get it. It does that. Forum bugs. Copy all the normal non-weird-html text, delete all the weird html script, and repaste.
Hmm, this seems pretty cool. I do think that it has some theme problems though. Some of the textures are groovy and patterny, while others are realistic (as realistic as it gets with 8x8 anyway) and very detailed. None of these are bad things, but you need to keep a theme in mind while making the whole texturepack, otherwise it's going to be confusing and weird to play with. Try to incorporate the textures more together, so that they fit together more. Apart from that, you need to make the sidegrass black/white as well to make it fit with the topgrass.
*edit*
Also, don't bump your thread this often, it's against the rules.
I know about the pattern thing, but if you try it, some of it doesn't look that bad together (take pumpkins or melons for example). However, I will keep that in mind as I change or create more textures for updates. If you don't mind, which theme do you like more? I would like the input, and it will help me know what to change.
Next, actually the sidegrass tile is overlaid by the small gray sidegrass tile underneath the iron block texture, so if you have fancy turned on, the colors will match. If the don't match in fast mode, sorry but I had to do that mostly by eye. I might take the colors from a screenshot though.
And yeah, sorry for the bumping, everyone. I will upload a new version tonight though, and then I can bump it well anyway, keep the comments coming guys! You're really helpful!
