minecraft reads the texture packs in .zip format .rar doesnt work. not sure why. but the thing is all my packs are uploaded in .zip so i dont really understand why it isnt. sorry if i cant help you. ive never had anyone with this type of problem

Added the SEUS terrains for all the sizes! just unzip and put in the original pack. for the water shader to work you have to disable the custom water flowing and still files
Yup I can't tell why everything is glossy because I can make it work with OVO texture pack that Sonic Ether patched.
Maybe it's how you did them. Did you do them on purchose to be a lot glossy? Even grass texture have a lot of gloss reflection to it.
Bumps work wonderfully tho.
This look good because it is lava and bricks so reflection is logical.
But then you have too much gloss on dirt/grass too and this doesn't look that good and looks plastic.
Is it a bug I'm experiencing or you really did gloss every textures? Just wondering.
edit: Okay so I compared your terrain_s with Sonic's OVO one and you really made it much brighter. That's why everything is a lot glossy. You should tone down some textures like grass and dirt. Just a suggestion.

yea i probably did. ive never made a specular map like this before. trial and error i guess. ill work on tweaking it and defiantly tone it down. thanks for the info with screens
That's already much better and can actually use it now! Honestly you can leave a lot of gloss on your cobblestone/stone bricks/stone objects and wood planks it makes them polished and it looks cool. It also looks good on the white trees as their surface are less rough than brown trees. You could also try some on the trees leaf but not too much... SEUS did it for the OVO pack.

yea. im still working on a complete specular map. its gonna be a bit though. still working around the whole concept of the red green and blue reflective properties

np just suggesting. Don't forget ice! and maybe snow a bit if it can make it look "crystal".

you have to delete the lightmap0,lightmap1,and the lightmap-1.png in the enviroment folder if you are not using the shaders

thanks alot of work went into thi pack. glad you enjoy it. and you will love it with the shaders. that is what i originally made this pack for. if you use the seus rc5(the latest) make sure to grab the normal and specular maps.
