Hello everyone and welcome to an innovative and influencing artistic texturepack by me (leo_flare) named Leo's Linear Pack or if you prefer simply LLP. The linear patterns form the very structure of this pack and are the main theme overall. This pack uses a simple set of principles which I have introduced into this texturepack in order to form a specific style of artwork and a sense of Originality throughout the pack. (More about these principles below). Personally I think these textures fit the theme of minecraft, though to some my work may seem like a bit of an eye strain/struggle through the use of contrasted black. The principles work well with the natural up close aspects of the game, though I will advise you that these textures may not work well with the overall presentation of the game E.g. screenshots or Short films as the linear aspects of it tend to collide at a a distance. The pack is in its Indev Stage and is a Work in progress so it WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL ALL OF THE TERRAIN IS DONE! The threads main purpose right now is so that the community can help me too develop this pack as well as everyone's opinions and recommendations on it. Feel free to leave your opinions and advice please as it will help dramatically!

Style, Themes and Techniques
LLP uses multiple principles and techniques which are followed throughout the creation of this pack inorder to help construct a certain style or theme. In order to replicate each texture consistent to the theme of creative linear art the following principles are followed as I make these textures:
-A base colour is applied and used as the background of the selected texture
-The base is followed by multiple black lines which define the form of the texture
-Two varieties of lines are fitted between the main black lines, one with a lighter colour than the main base and a second with a darker colour. This adds to the detail of the textures.
*Each adjoining pixel must be connected either vertically or horizontally (Diagonal pixels can't touch by their tips)
Black,Dark or Light!

The best way you can currently support me is by commenting and evaluating my work so far until the full release! Tell me what you think of new textures and motivate me to finish them! Thankyou!
The idea is good, and it's quite effective, although the solid black outlines that make it less attractive. Try making them a darker shade of the main block colour, example dark green outlines on grass.
Thankyou! I'm Begging to think of adding two alternate texturepack options:
-One with Black lines
-Another where the lines are a darker base colour
I'll see if I can work on a texture soon!

Wow! It's really unique! I think the darker base colors that epiclizard said is a good idea, but I think me, myself prefers the black lines. The black lines get it a really unique artistic feel.
I think that if you keep with the quality of work you're doing this will become a quite popular texture pack. Keep up the good work. Here have a notch
Hello everyone! I'm back with some alternatives for evaluation!
These are some example that I've worked on that show the textures with a darker based coloured form line in replacement of the pure black lines used in the original textures (Taking account that these may suit some people).
Personally I like the originals though you's have been requesting to make the lines are lighter base colour so I went ahead and made some! Please Leave your opinions as well as your choice of texture so that I can know whether to add a second texturepack option which includes this sort of development for each texture! Thankyou!

It is great that progress is being made so keep up with your valid opinions!
This is definitely original, and it looks nice! Well done!
The black lines though... from a distance, all you'll see is black. I do like the light version you've made, it fixed the problem completely!
One thing though, the [Indev] in the title is sort-of missleading, you may want to consider putting unreleased, just WIP or something until it's released. I can't wait.

I've now fixed it so that [Indev] is gone and [WIP] has moved to its place, Hope that helps!

I think I like the dark version of the grass the most!
You're doing a really good job on this and I really like how you're actually listening to the opinions of other people.
Btw I'd love to see a download up so we can test it out; test out the finished textures at least.
Hello everyone!
Just finished off the the gravel texture and it was a real pain!
I'm not as satisfied as I should be with it though! Believe me the concept sketches looked a whole lot better!
Feel free to evaluate it (I'd much appreciate it!) One on the main reasons it was hard was due to difficulty to produce nice tiny circles on a x32 Grid so keep that in mind! Thank you and here they are!

I am sorry to say I'm not releasing a download as of yet, as i still want a few more of the necessary textures to be implemented.
Sorry to disappoint :C
Also relating to the Dark, Light and Black i'm most likely to make a different version for each! It's nice to here your opinions and it really motivates me!
Thank you!

Also I have encountered a few problems!
I can't seem to resolve the issue with the bug I've listed in the change log which makes the grass side and top different shades from each other. If anyone could be kind enough to state my probably obvious mistake! Thanks for the help!
Wow! All I can say is you have talent. I think the bedrock texture is nice and goes really well at the bottom of the earth.
Can't help you with the bug problem sorry.
Hey Leo! I just wanted to check and make sure you were still working on this texture pack. I really love it and this is just the kind of pack I'm looking for.
I believe when you get a release of this pack out, it will really take off.
Yeah, I know I just sent you a message but just looking at the screenshots again made me excited all over again. This is gold. I really hope you intend to go through with it. When you're making something like this I think it's fine to consider people's input if they have it but at the end of the day, stick with what you like. It's you art, an expression of your own taste. Making something you think is great will produce a better outcome than trying to please the masses.
I have 1 suggestion though: The black lines in the blocks should just be a darker shade of the main color (which would be the "Dark" design for the grass blocks)
Thanks for your supportive and helpful comments
Unfortunately I've really neglected this pack and I apologise dearly if you've been eager for it's release. I been really overwhelmed with stuff and admittedly it's been really hard to meet up to my own plans and expectations. I might possibly get back into it, but, I can't grantee anything.
Sorry :C

The overall look is awesome, just not sure how well the diagonal bricks would conform to, say, a stair block. If you put a gun to my head, and forced me to give one more criticism, it'd be the transition from the bottom of the grass block to the top of the dirt block below it.
