I've started work on a new Texture pack which i call LinCraft, and here is the story of how it was made.
At start, i wanted to make a RPG pack, so i started making items which looked RPG-like.
After a while, i started drawing terrain, but the blocks reminded me more of some kind of Cartoon pack, which makes me a bit unsure what category the pack goes under
My boyfriend keeps telling me it looks like a mix of a RPG pack and a Cartoon pack.
If you mean that this pack fits better within another category, i'm open for suggestions.
Whoa! That's beautiful! The only thing I would change is the sidegrass. Right now it looks like it is flat on the dirt. A shadow underneath it would help a lot.

I have a shadow underneath the grass.. and I can see it well on my pc. But I can make it more dark if you want.
Looks good! It reminds me of DustyCraft (One of my favorites!). I will definitely be downloading this
The one suggestion I have is to make the dirt more soft and shaded. But it all looks great!
Thanks for the comments I'll try to fix a new version soon.
Maybe I'll change the pack to a dustypack, but what about the name of the pack? Should I change it?

There are some things that could be changed though:
-The cobblestone is too rough. Just because default did it, doesn't mean you should.
-I don't like the sandstone. It should have separate textures for the sides and the hue does not feel sandy enough
-Glowstone should be brighter
-Fancy leaves should be more sparse
-The 'sandstone v2' should be more brick like as well (As in, it shouldn't look almost identical to the one made from slabs)

- Cobblestone: I like the cobblestone the way it is because it looks like someone have mine it. I don't want to change it.
- Sandstone: You're not the only one who don't like the sandstone: I don't like it, but I've never made a nice sandstone. But I will change it later if I can make it more like sandstone.
- Glowstone: I was thinking about the same, but I think the glowstone looks good in nether. Maybe the light on my pcscreen is too bright or the light on your pcscreen is too dark...
- Sandstone 2: It looks like a brick? ..or 4 bricks with creeperface in one block.
Really well done! I love it!
I couldn't help noticing though, quite a few of the textures are very similar to John Smiths. Not in actual pixels but definitely in style.
Pumpkin, redstone lamps, doors and sand are the ones I noticed.
Like I said though, the similarity is in style only and is probably just a coincidence.
So don't mind me...

The pumpkin, redstone, lamps, doors and sand (and alot of other blocks) is similar to a lot of texture packs.. John smith, hdcraft, dokucraft, junglecraft... Its not easy to make a pumpkin (for example) who are different from every pumpkins.

Yeah, I think it should be more dark and solid. Something like this:

Im talking about to change the style description. This pack looks like a dustypack, not RPG/cartoon.

My point is - it shouldn't look identically to the 3rd sandstone variant.

Curse PremiumEven though I don't like dark texturepacks your combination of cartoony and rpg is awesome! I'll definately use it when you complete it!
