I had come into this thread expecting a "bucket fill", a "I added my own two pixels to the default" and/or "applied an overlay" texture pack. But I truly am pleasantly surprised.
This is pretty good. I just downloaded it to take a peek and I think it looks pretty nice. It isn't particularly my style but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its merits and charms and it certainly doesn't mean I don't like it, I do!
My only criticisms are the netherbrick and the dirt and grass. I think you could lighten up the brown of the "cracks" and "fissures" in the dirt; I think the current brown you've got is a bit too jarring against the rest of the dirt. It's very dark. The grass surface is a bit too "globule" and lumpy for my tastes. At first I had thought it was a green texture for the stone. I think you should smooth it out.
And I think the netherbrick doesn't fit in with the other textures. It looks too different like you just plopped a texture in there from some other pack. I can't put my finger on why; I think it may be the colors.
In any case, please feel free to just disregard my feedback. I probably won't use this texture pack but I will look forward to any future updates you make; it's getting bookmarked! And great job on the leather armor; the robin hood hat is instantly recognizable and it's one of the better ones I've seen.

Hahahahaha I didn't know if anyone would get the Robin Hood Reference. I got it from Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Very good job at noticing it. And well, I can answer why the netherbrick doesn't seem to fit. It's because unlike the rest of the pack it's really close to being smooth, and that's deliberate. The Nether fortress's are a enigma, no one know's why they are there, so I figured I would do something a little different, give an eerie feel to it. I've tried putting faces on it, blood running down, nothing worked. And well I like the cracks of the dirt, gives a muddy rock feel to it.

Actually I tried out what you said about the dark lines in the dirt, I made them brighter but still distinguishable and it looks great. I'm trying to figure out how to add more things to this pack and my ideas have run dry. Right now I'm just looking back at textures and experimenting a little.
Does anyone know what I should add to this texture pack and how to go about adding them?

That's awesome I'm glad that my advice helped out. And how do you mean by adding more things to the pack? Do you mean like alternative textures or mod support?

Yeah, I've added a bunch of alternative mobs lately. I've wanted to get really good mod support as well. One of my biggest goals is Tekkit but I can't figure out how to add the support for that, let alone find the textures. I know it's really huge so I kind of want to do other things and get used to them first before I tackle Tekkit.
Why don't you try adding basic and extended CTM support which is used by both MCPatcher and Optifine? Extended CTM can be used for as much or as little as you want really, so you can pick and choose. For example, one of the things I've done for my personal texture pack is choose several flower, mushroom and tall grass textures and randomize them in game so it looks more interesting and less repetitive. And I've CTM'd my bookcases and glass so they connect together like one giant bookcase or pane when placed next to one another. You can do a lot of stuff with it.
https://raw.github.c.../ctm.properties <- you can read up on what should be written within .properties files here, the codes both work for optifine and mcpatcher.
http://www.minecraft...0#entry17664325 <-in WantedRobot's signature is includes the FyreUK pack created by him which has a ton of extended CTM stuff which you should probably take a peak at to get a better idea at how it works.

Sweet thanks! :D. By the way, do you know how I can change the name of this forum post and the tags?
No problem, and to change the title of the thread and the tags, go to your first post and choose to edit it and then choose to use the full editor, wherein you'll be given the option to change everything including the tags and topic title.

I'm so dumb when it comes to forum post and code-ing as I've said before. I really appreciate help like this. But that first link you gave me made my head spin lol. I'm better with textures.

I felt the same way when I looked at the CTM instructions from github; but I tend to be stubborn when I want something and I did want the awesomeness of CTM in my texture pack haha. It might be better for you to look at some of WantedRobot's .properties files just to see if you can wrap your head around it though, admittedly, he does some really complicated stuff!
http://www.minecraft...eatures/#index1 <- this link will probably help a lot too since it breaks it down more simply than github. I'm not an expert at the extended CTM stuff but I think I understand it well enough, if you decide to include support and need help just shoot me a forum pm and I'll try to help.
