Solid Color Texture Pack!!

Hello everybody,
This is my first texture pack so im not really sure what to put in the post or how good this will turn out to be...

For now I'm calling this the "Solid Color Texture Pack" because that's what it is, it replaces all the default Minecraft textures with a counterpart that is the same but without any detail at all. I am actually looking for a new name for the pack, unless this name that I have sticks.

I started this pack to make my glass clear then i decided to try and make a couple of the textures to be a plain color and I liked it and I just it expanded from there.

I have made this texture pack compatible with the connected textures mod that comes with MCPatcher and Optifine (thought i dislike and don't recommend using it with this pack) and for those who are confused by me saying this, this texture pack does NOT need wither of these mods to use as it is not HD.

wild grass
wheat
saplings
nether wart
emerald blocks
mine carts
boats
signs
cave spiders
cats
squids
villagers
enderdragon
blaze (normal)
lava slimes
better pumpkin overlay
plan to make some of my own art
and i MAY make a custom sun and moon

and would you guys like custom inventories?

I have created 2 versions of this texture pack, the only difference of the 2 are the nether, if you look in the pictures, I have created a normal simplified nether... and I have created a cyber nether which is supposed to be as if you are in the inner workings of cyber world (like inside a computer). It goes like this, the green (netherack) is healthy data flow areas and stuffs, but then, the gray (soul sand) is like dead areas that have just died out. Lastly the blue areas (nether brick) are supposed to be extremely data rich, this is why blaze (which are red to signify viruses) hang around here, to feed off the data. Ghasts are also red because they are viruses... Let me know what you guys think of this idea for the nether and if I should continue it or not.

FYI MUST READ: I have made this pack partially customized to myself (i love green and black next to each other). You will notice that certain things have been changed to fit this liking, for example the slimes and the tamed dogs are black and green, this is also why I rearranged the diamond and iron colors so that diamonds are green, just be aware of this and if you would like me to take out these changes and make this a pure simplified default texture pack just let me know.

I think this goes without saying but, please so not distribute this texture pack on your own, if someone wants it please direct them here to this forum. also you may not use any parts of this texture pack in your own if you plan to share it without asking me first (I will almost always give you permission, but just ask first).

Cobble and all other real textures have tiling errors.

explain and how can i fix it?

When you have several distinct pieces of a "pattern" in a block that are not a similar size or shape to the others, it's obvious that it is a repeated pattern. You have to try to avoid that in order for the pattern to look less repeat-y.

Also, on the sides of the textures the distinct shapes make a grid pattern.

do you think you could help me and tell me more specifically what blocks need redone? (you dont have to do this if you dont want to)

Actually, all of the textures need to be redone. Read a texturing tutorial somewhere. The pack may work fine for you but if you want to be really proud of your work learn a few tips and tricks to texturing. It's worth it.

What can be said here can be said for any simple pack. Needs detail, more effort, bleh.

I need a texture pack thats all one color except for the wool... Got any ideas?
