The leaves are probably broken because of how Optifine handles translucency.
Removing the translucent pixels from the leaf textures solved the issue for me.
After many months - years, even - I felt the need to come and make a post telling you how much I appreciate your work. Your style is unique, you've covered the majority of content, and you give regular updates. I've tried to find more 16x packs in the past and Pixel Perfection always finds its way back to the top of my list.
Speaking of updates - how are you doing? What's new with Pixel Perfection?
Don't worry, I literally got off the plane back in australia a couple of hours ago. I'll check what still needed to be done for the last update I was going to post before leaving, unfortunately I underestimated how much stuff I needed to do before I had to go so I never got around to releasing it...

There is really only 2 things in this resource pack that i dislike, else than that it is by far my favorite!. First of all id love to see some more see through glass, i literately hate the glass cause it is barely see through! Second, well the ender egg and the obsidian looks brownish, and i hate that too. It really needs to have that black / dark color it always had.
Other than that this is by far the best looking resource pack ever!
I've actually been working on new glass for the next update, I found the old one looked a bit messy personally. The new ones are still going to have a bar in the middle of the glass but should still be easier to see through and look less overwhelming in large chunks of glass. Alternatively the tinted glass all have only a black iron border so white tinted glass could be a better choice if you want something easily see-through!
As for the obsidian and dragon egg, I'm not sure if I'll change them up or not... I quite like the colours they currently have but I can definitely make some alternate textures if needed which have a more traditional colour scheme!

Yea, as Wulfre mentioned, I renamed them to voidwalkers so the enderpearls are now called voidwalker cores and active voidwalker cores for the ender eyes. Just search 'voi' and you'll find them both. Sorry that it's a little confusing!

So i've been playing with v3.0 for a few days now, and although the pack is excellent overall there are a few things that have been bothering me:
- the stone slab sides are kinda ugly. the rough texture and weird wavy line just doesnt fit with how beautiful the top texture is.
- the granite in this pack reminds me of pink dirt.
Other than that, your textures are wonderful as always.

Also anyone who's curious about the update, I'm just finishing it up now. Zombie pigman is done and so I'm kinda just looking through seeing if there are any blocks or anything I'd like to touch up with models or an updated texture. I'll try and release it later today if possible!
I'm not too sure about the zombie pigman currently though, I've tried to make it look like a pig skin was attached over the top of a rock golem similar to the villagers but it kinda looks a tad messy, not sure. Feedback would be appreciated!
EDIT: oh yea, also, just in case you guys don't see the changelog:
-new mobs: ghast and zombie pigman now complete
-alex skin has also been added
-new night skybox for mcpatcher and optifine users - still a WIP so it will be improved for the next update. Still better than no stars though!
-new texture for the stone halfslab side
-new glass texture - ctm for it will be coming shortly
-new title screen
-few new paintings added and some older ones touched up
-fixed a few errors including some errors in the language pack
-a few more alternate textures
Thanks for updating the stone slab - it looks much better now. Personally I'd also lighten it just a bit to make it contrast better with cobble/stonebricks/stone, but that's your choice.

Yea, that was a personal choice, I like to use it as a lining on cobblestone blocks as it makes nice walls. Looks pretty swell if it's the same colour like that which is why I did it.
Honestly I'm not entirely sure why mine don't work since vanilla uses a translucent texture for calculating fast leaves now as well so really it should work the same way. I'm gonna have a look at it later though, see if I can make it work nicely. It could be as simple as lowering the transparency a bit or something. I'll see what I can do. If not I can make an optifine addon pack that overwrites the leaves with versions that will work 100% okay.

speaking of which, if you ever get extra time, wouldn't a new banner help aswell? as i think the ones used now is just a tad bit out dated.

I can confirm that it is just a lower transparency issue, if to high(like 70%) it will just showup as the color in fancy
