Ok, I checked out the mod and you've done a great job updating the pack for it!
I'll probably make a couple of edits to the grass because I made a few changes as to how the normal grass looks in the pack but the alternate grass seems pretty good. (looks awesome too, love all that foliage!)
I also thought about it and it might actually be easier to just include your files in with the main pack to make it easier for people. Do you mind if I inlcude your files in the main download of the pack? I'd still give you full credit of course!
No problem, do as you want! But be aware that the texture need to be placed in the "bettergrassandleaves" files in the .zip to work (not "minecraft" as it was in the old version of better grass and leaves). That the path used for the mod Better Foliage.
Sweet thanks! I managed to get it working now.
Now I just need to hope that the dev of the reboot for the mod adds in some of the other neat features from the old mod...
It's not a bug from the snapshots. Mojang changed some things in the block model format that made rotation in 3d models work differently. XXSheep's json's are a little bit outdated.
P.S: It might look even worse in 3rd person view.
Hmmmm, I do have a lot of the old json files so that might actually be the issue
I'll check if it is and if so then I'll release a small update to fix it. Will also include some other stuff but it's mostly just texture variation stuff for 1.8. Don't think I have any content for the older versions.
Oh actually I've included the better grass and leaves mod files from Mr_moustache in the main pack along with some changes to a few of the textures. That's for 1.7 I guess...
Edit: forum is playing up, sorry for the weird looking post...
Ok sorry it took me so long to reply, I managed to fix the weird block and item holding problems and while I was at it I added some 3d elements to the pack. I don't want to go too crazy with the modeling because too much just looks out of place and causes unnecessary lag. I think the stuff that I've added so far is pretty good though and I'll only add a couple more things like randomised arms on cacti, flowers and roots for lilypads, a tweaked beacon model and possibly 3d reeds.
Anyways, I'll update the pack shortly with the fixes and models, I'm just trying to finish off porting a few more ctm features into vanilla.
Screenies of model stuff (there are also a few more random ctm textures that aren't shown here too):
Unique textures for fences and walls, might change the model slightly too.
Indented bookshelves and crafting table, 3d rails and ladders, beds with a proper bed end.

So I just returned to mc... Again... I am so happy you are still working on PP, its by far my favorite 16x pack! Looking forward to the item holding fix etc
Ok, pack is updated and all the bugs are gone. Hope that helps!
Also finished off all the 1.8 textures and added a bunch of features with the new modeling system among other things. Here's a little sneak peek of a few of the new things:
Thank you! There is a problem with the ladders though-snip-
Hmmm, not sure why that's happening... Gonna try and replicate that bug and fix it now though. If I get it fixed I'll post a quick little update for the pack again.
Hmm, I've tested everything I can think of and I can't get the ladders to lose their texture like they have in that picture... Is the texture still broken when you place a new ladder, maybe facing a different direction?
Yea, still need to do the banners too but I'll definitely have it all done before 1.8 fully drops anyway so it should be okay. I also need to change my enchanting gui to be the 1.8 version but I'll do that for an update a day before 1.8 actually releases so that it doesn't look really weird for everyone using 1.7.

It happens in all directions, on the ones i placed before this version, and after. I thought it might be the 3d-model, but the rails work perfect... I dont know. I am playing on a mac if that could have something to do with it. I also tested both fast and fancy graphics to be sure...
Before and after pic:
EDIT: A new snapshot has just been released. (armor stands and red sandstone is among the features) Will check if that fixes it in... like an hour
Just fixed it by completely remaking the model. For some reason it was working perfectly when the pack was unzipped but as soon as I zipped it to upload it the model just broke. Anyways, completely good now. I'll get to work on the snapshot stuff now I guess!

I was looking at the TAU thread and noticed your amazing new doors. With the new door options, I'd like to see the Iron Door be changed to be a bit more iron-y or mechanical, because at the moment it seems much more like a wooden door.
Also I especially like your new Bed and Cobblestone Walls.

Hmm, if I did I'd really want to reuse the door somehow as it's currently my favourite door. I really like the reinforced wood look!
I'll try experimenting with a plain iron door once I finish the dark oak and jungle doors but it's not going to be my first priority - I want to get the new armour stands and fences sorted out first! (a few of the fences are going to have custom models, maybe a picket fence among other things)
Glad you like the walls and bed though, I'll actually be adding a random element to the beds so that you can get different coloured covers for the bed, maybe a quilted variant too.
EDIT: oh yea, I'm adding random variants to all the planks too, about halfway done with that currently. I eventually want to get multiple variants for all the common materials just to break up the tiling.
Hmm, I agree about the 1.6.4 thing, I should make another version of my pack specifically for 1.6.4 and before so that mod users can use it properly.
As for the mods themselves, I'm unlikely to be making support just yet because I want to finish the vanilla textures, but maybe in the future. Feel free to have a go at making mod textures yourself though!
