Yap, I have some basic designs down for the ctm but I haven't shaded it full or decided which I'm going to use for the non ctm version yet. I'll try to release it at the same time as the new update.
I think I might make a new grass top to go with the new tall grass though as the old one looks a little messy and I know I can do better. It would be for the normal pack so it will show up in the grass addon thing and the normal pack which means I'll have to make something that looks nice in both situations.
Nevermind, I just made the non-ctm one. Here's a pic of it at the moment without ctm, I'm having a bit of trouble getting it working as it's replacing my top grass with the tall grass texture when I use it... >.>

I like the add on feature. When I heard about the new Reesource Pack selection menu things, this is exactly what I thought it would be used for. There would be a main pack, and then there's be other ones for changes to ores, common blocks, armours, trees, animals, etc.

Yah, definitely the best way for the new resource pack system to be used. Matching 2 packs together usually just doesn't work well as you can obviously tell which blocks came from which. Work from the same author intended for use with the same pack on the other hand....
Anyways, I've made a new top grass texture, still undecided as to whether I'll implement it into the normal pack or not though. Going to have to think on it for a while!

Fine by me, but be warned. It contains a splitscreen of two different packs (yours, and someone elses), that way I could fit two resource-packs into one showcase.

I snipped a picture of the video for you. It does look a bit controversial, now that I think about it. Almost like it's a Resourcepack vs. Resourcepack video.
Hmmm, looks like traditional beauty is actually very similar to default so it's actually a good comparison video (comparing my pack to default colours and shapes anyways). Oh well, I'll still chuck it in the OP anyways, can't hurt.

Yeah, it's basically just Default, but he embossed the textures in Photoshop/Gimp/Paint_NET/etc.
Edit: I think I'll just stick to one Resourcepack per video, and leave the multiple showcases in one video thing to my Mod Monday series. It doesn't work so well in Resourcepacks, it looks more like a Which is better themed video...
Phew, sorry I've been silent for a while guys! Met up with a few friends after exams and have been pretty busy catching up with people since the holidays started.
Anyways, I've also made some new things like an animated dispenser and dropper (new textures for them too), new furnace, new redstone block, new carrots texture and some tweaks to colours and other changes/entirely new textures for some of the items.
I'll whip up a new sidegrass texture to suit the new top grass (which is going to be default for the grass addon pack as well as the normal pack) and then put out an update, possibly after finding where my old ctm wheat textures went though because ctm actually works for wheat now...
